@echo1434 don't be sorry. I played the plain american 5 string p bass a few years back when it was first introduced and I was very impressed. I probably will pick one up next year if I get back into band stuff after I finish school. That post school gear list I have is pretty big.
@thecrashinghighways It's the active electronics that scared Fender on this. It wasn't a problem on the 4, but the 5 had issues, I never had a problem with mine that couldn't be fixed without dialing it in differently
@lummond apparently, it's the electronics, the B string is boomy. I had the problem at the beginning HOWEVER switched string brands to D'addario and moved the saddle notch one over from where they had it from the factory and it sounded right. The boom, according to a few snobs that have emailed me, was the reason Fender pulled this bass from the market. The 4 string didn't have the problem.
@echo1434 Are you sure about this? Because they don't have it up on their website, the ones you see could be customs or older models. Unless this was reintroduced to the 2012 lineup.
@Wyldweasil Oh, ok...damn that sux. Oh well I'll keep looking. I'd like to add one to my collection. ('74 Gibson Grabber, '85 Fender Fretless Jazz, '10 Ibanez SR400QM, '04 Fender P-Bass Special)
this is a really nice bass but i think the schecter diamond p bass can hold its ground. i was saving my pennies for fucking ever to get the american deluxe. but then i saw the schecter which has the same sort of feel and design. and its only $500 instead of 1000+ so its a really great value
i own schecters and as obvious, I owned Fenders, my schecters are no match for my fenders as far as quality goes. That doesn't mean you can't get a great schecter, but it does not compare quality wise. the fender just feels better, it's like the difference between graduating high school and college.
@wyldweasil this is true, and im not saying that the schecter is better, im just saying that shecter really stepped up with the diamond p bass. but if i had a choice between an american deluxe and a diamond p i would take the american deluxe...and don't knock ur bass playing ur really good...and i gave u a like because i cant put 5 stars anymore lol
I only say I'm not that great of a player because I'm being honest. I had a friend who used to tell people he was great at art, very cocky about it, and honestly, he was terrible at it. I find it better to be some call modest, and truthful than to be stupid and cocksure.
@warwickjude There's a 5 string on ebay right now. Ebay's going to be the only place you can find one, maybe craigslist, or if you randomly stroll into a guitar store that happens to have one that's been sitting around for a while, they don't make the 5 string anymore
was interested to see you could tune down to A. i'm gonna get an acoustic 5-string i've been looking at and i've had this set of thick black nylon strings by rotosound for a while that i think might sound good on it. i'm wondering if you think tuning to G C F Bb Eb is possible or would that be pushing it for the low G. I tune my current four string to C F Bb Eb so it would be nice to keep those four strings the same
@trogular Lowest I had it tuned was GCGCF for my band's cd recording 2 years ago. Look for the videos Pinion bass it should turn up somewhere, along with some mischief
i couldn't tell too much from the vid. did you find the low g sounded cool? could you hear the tone or did it just make an earth shattering rumble??? did it have as much attack as say a low B ? thkns
First off, it is obvious that you are serious about your playing and that is what really matters.
Right on and way to go!!!
I started on the bass guitar using a Fender heavy pick and still do to this day; depending on the situation I'm in, I use what I need to achieve the sesired reults that are warranted .
I also use my fingers and slap, whatever works for the indiviual player is all that really matters; along with whatever works in the situation if playing in a group setting.
I use to take a lot of flack from some bass players that only used their fingers by playing an Ibenez Polar White Musican series bass with the built in pre-amp and drive the EQ up while running into dual AMPEG SVTs running in stereo, with a pick; the pre-amp toggle switch would be used to activate the pre-amp while pointin g the bass's pickup towards one of the 8X10 cabs, which would create a fierce feedback effect, used in moderation.
You are really good!, I mean talk about professionalism. YOU SIR, HAVE IT! I Don't know what "it" is but in any case that is a beautiful bass and i hope to see it in geddy's hands someday, nice vid.
I've never seen a 6 string Pbass, could exsist, more likely a custom. They did have that Tye Zamora signature that was a 6 string, but wasn't a p bass
Can you post another vid of this bass with only the precision pickup on? I'm curious what it sounds like on an active precision fender. Thanx!...love that bass by the way. Nice demo.
Nah, super busy with school work. I have the blend knob even on this, but I think the P comes out on top a little more. Check my Mesa Big Block 750 video, the last half is the fender and it sounds far different thru that amp
Oh, ok just wondering because I have that same bass with only 4 strings and it doesn't sound anything like that haha. That way it sounds on this video is completely diferent than mine, but I like it.
On The Bass i have the lows cranked, mids yanked, and highs are a little on the negative side. On the Amp everything is slightly boosted on the plus side, nothing too fancy. I do this because I went into a store once, played the same amp on a wood floor and at those EQ settings it sounded great.
Theres nothing wrong with using a pick. I hate all these narrow - minded bass players that think you have to always use your fingers. saying your not a real bassist ? well hendrix used his teeth ! does this not make him a real guitarist ? exactly now shut up. sweet bass man
I agree. Some of the best bassists from the old days used picks. Chris Squire, Paul Mccartney, Anthony Jackson, Phil Lesh, John Paul Jones, Roger Waters, and even Jeff Berlin and John Entwistle used picks from time to time. using a pick offers different possibilites to you're playing. I am mostly a finger player, but IMO it's not how you play a bass, but just the fact that you ARE playing the bass that makes you a bassist. Hell, I wish I could play better with a pick.
kinda yes and no, you have me pegged on the metal thing however not all bassists who play with a pick play guitar. It's all a matter of preference, I'd play with my fingers more if i had more slower stuff to work with. But hey, remember there is a guy out there that plays his bass with his feet, and he's pretty good, don't remember his name though
because it's easier for me. I'm influenced by fear factory/Dino Cazares and in order to be able to follow that I have to use a pick, my fingers aren't that fast.
Ah nice! I had a chance to play one while I was taking lessons. Although Iam not very good, it was pretty cool playing one. I was skeptical at first cause I have medium size hands with somewhat short fingers, but it did not feel too uncomfortable. It sounded fucking awesome too. Nice jams man! I noticed we like similar music. Old school Sepultura and Life of Agony kick ass!
Hell yeah man. I wish I could pick fast. Iam more of a finger player, it just feels more natural to me. I do practice with a pick from time to time though. Like I said, Iam not very good. I took lessons when I was fifteen for a few months then stopped cuz my parents could no longer afford them, I stopped playing until about two years ago when I randomly picked it back up. I took lessons again but only for about a year cause ironicly I started having money problems of my own. Lol
Right now Iam just working, trying to keep up with my bills. I hope to continue my education about the bass in the future, Iam fixing to be twenty six, so Iam behind. BTW man, I think it's funny when people have nothing better to do with their time then insult other peoples performance videos. There will always be someone better then another anyway, so what does it matter right?
yeah so true. Don't feel too bad, I was in the same club, but then again, guess I'm still in that club. Don't let the fancy high dollar basses and guitars fool you, I've been broke most of my life as well. My parents couldn't afford lessons either, so most of my style came from watching concerts and videos, and a little bit of guitar world. Its funny, my friend Dave is amazing on guitar and I was joking with him last week because he can't sweep pick, he'll never be good on the internet! LOL
Lol! Werd man. Actually I did manage to work my ass off at two jobs and bought me a nice high dollar bass. I got a Yamaha BB2005, it's pretty much a Nathan East BBNE2 minus a few extra things. It's actually very nice, I like it quite a bit. It is a J/J bass, but I can still get some fairly dark sounds out of it. My first 5 string was an LTD B-55, I still have it. For what it is, it's actually decent. That one is a P/J bass. It has a thinner neck then my Yamaha. The Yamaha gets
wider as you move up the scale, but starts very thin. Like I said, I don't have big hands or long fingers so sometimes it's a bit tricky for me, but I like it. I have yet to play a Warwick, I hear they have a sound to die for, but I doubt I could ever play one.
awesome I played a 1005 of the yamaha and it felt pretty good, but the neck widening was a little wierd, I could see that taking a while to get used too. The Warwick I played was REALLY good, just at the time didn't want to spend that much cash on something I'd beat up in a live situation.
Yeah I know man. To spend $1600 to around $6000 for a Warwick and then have somthing happen to it would be devastating. I know they are all the rage these days but Jesus Christ thats alot of cash. I had a friend buy a Corvette 5 string once, six months later the electronics went out. Talk about some shitty luck!
For a nice sounding (low B) on a 5 string bass you, at least, need a 35" (long scale) bass. Fender, amongst many other mass produced basses, have only offered 5 strings in the standard 34" scale. As a result the low B isn't going to have a nice, well defined, articulate sound but will be muddy or "floppy" instead. Anyway, for a 5, go with 35" scale and, if you can afford it, go with the boutique instrument builders/luthiers. I'd rather have one perfect bass than several mediocre ones.
I wouldn't call this bass mediocre by any means. This is the best sounding bass in my arsenal and never fails. The inch off from 35 doesn't hurt this bass at all. In fact, this actually plays better than every 35" scale 5 string that i have ever owned. Once again, everyone keeps saying it's a "floppy" B, but yet people don't seem to see how hard I'm striking the strings. That has a lot to do with it.
I wish you'd screwed around with the knobs a bit, maybe demonstrated the use of the EQ and how the pickups sound isolated/combined. That's my only complaint though, informative review. Evil tone! I'd pay blood for one of these basses, pisses me off how they discontinued the five string.
It's not a music man pickup. These 5 strings were manufactured up until about 2003. A lot of people said the active system in there made the B string too boomy, I can't say i've had that problem. They still make the 4 string version, I had it a while back, only paid half of what they are asking for it now, but that was 7 years ago
It's actually a "Dual Coil" pickup underneath the cover so it's like having the punch and power of *2* Jazz Bass pickups together as opposed to the more typical P/J pickup setup. It would have been great if Fender had made it even more useful by adding a coil-cut ability to solo only 1 of the coils, but for my money the 5-string version of this bass was the best 5-string Precision Bass they made - that Dual Coil bridge pickup added added some killer "oomph!" to the standard P-bass tone.
I love this bass I'm just hesitated into this one and the steve harris precision bass (just 'cause that's a wonderfull bass and i love iron maiden lol).
he's not shit. Watch his other videos. The bass can make the player too. Les Claypool is who he is because Carl Thompson makes the finest basses in the world. It's no humbucker. Musicman's don't even carry a distinct sound. It's just a deep tone you stupid twats
thje bass rly only makes the player in terms of some style n tone it is mainly down to the player, les claypool is amazing because he is naturally gifted and worked hard to get tht good..not just because of his fuckin bass :P
that being said this guy is still deffo not shit, it takes alot to be shit at bass, hes okay, he has the essentialls to work from :P

nah, I keep it set to the string height in the manual. I don't like messing with stuff like that. besides, you see how I play, hiring the action would probably benefit me more, but I am certainly not willing to do that.
American Standard brand new is going to cost you about $1500 now that Fender has raised their prices. This deluxe version would retail new today for $16-1700 if it were still available
I have the a 4-string with the maple fretboard. You're right about the neck,it's got a nice broken in feel, and a real comfortable profile. I'm a finger player, but there are plenty of bass players who use picks, go ahead and use them. Keep on jammin!
Stop trying out the ultra-cheap ones. Not to mention, it all matters on your amp. You can have a $3,000 bass but if your amp sucks, it's still gonna sound like crap.
You have no idea how many of those comments i go thru a week. They almost out number the "play with your fingers" comments. I've actually held back from posting a mesa review because of that alone.
also another thing is: who gives a fuck if they bitch and moan about you using a pick. but its still nice to use your fingers so that the people who do have that as their main style can get an idea on what the finger tone is.
Why? Because I fucking feel like it! It's my bass, I can do whatever I want with it. It's funny, this video has 20,000 views and probably about 100 or more of those views were people writing me to voice negative thoughts or thinking I was seeking advice on my playing, I certainly was not looking for any of that.
I realize not everyone plays the same way, but a lot of you "OMG he's using a pick!" people need to realize that not everyone plays the same way and just deal with it!
I was criticizing dickheads like you, and "jamilaracaille" below me who put down bass players who use a pick in their videos, like it's some, macho thing, to use your hand. Some people use a pick and some don't. It depends on your music style(Rock, Funk) AND I NEVER EVEN MENTIONED CLIFF BURTON, let alone calling him a "loser"
Never in this thread have I put down pick player, you stupid faggot! Open your fucking eyes and read the post. I said my favorite bassist used a pick.
personally, i dont like playing with a pick, but im not sure why you people think its such a big deal that someone else does... there are amazing players that use there fingers, as well as equally amazing players that use a pick. this is like guitar players fighting over strumming or fingerpicking.
btw, the bass playing sounds good. try using your 4th finger a little more instead of your 3rd, because your hand looks a little strained. but good job otherwise.
A 5 string bass tuned down one step is A standard? Don't you mean drop A? ...or is that meant to be the same thing. I know drop tunings but not the whole "A standard, B standard" thing.
But if you tune a 4 string down to drop B to get the sound of a 5 string then you would change all 4 strings from EADG to BEAD not just one string but that doesn't make it B standard :S
actually it does. You're talking about going from E standard to B standard. Drop D doesn't mean you're tuning DGCFAD it means you're simplying tuning DADGBE. That's the difference.
But that's the tuning people most commonly refer to as drop B. Like when people say Drop C they mean CGCF, they don't mean CADG, it doesn't make sense from a players point to tune like that. Drop D is the only instance where there is no deviation from standard tuning other than the 4th string DADG.
Oh and btw this is the same principle as with a guitar right? And when you tune down to B, F#, B, E what would that be? There are like 2 kinds of "B standards" from what I've seen.
In the video I'm using DR strings, I can't honestly say i'm too much of a fan. I usually use D Addario's. I'm a big fan of the EXL160-5 set on this one. But I currently tried DR again and it didn't work out yet again, the B gets too boomy and the E gets over shadowed by it. I don't have that problem when i'm using the Daddarios
that sounds sick nasty...and i agree with PBR69, its nice to see someone just playing something fun, and not try to impress everyone. its people like you that are better because you just play bass what its meant for.
@echo1434 don't see it. I do think you might be confused. there is an American standard that it's passive with just a p pick up. it's not the same

It's on their website. Go to products > basses > Precision bass. Then click on "American Standard" on the left side. It should be the third one down.
At any rate, a few of the major online retailers have them in stock at the moment, and you can find them on eBay too.

because it's easier for me. I'm influenced by fear factory/Dino Cazares and in order to be able to follow that I have to use a pick, my fingers aren't that fast.
wyldweasil 2 years ago
ohh you see i have tried picking but i just dont like it as much and its sounds sloppy when i do it yet it sounds great when you do it
SHAZZAM123455 2 years ago
hmmmmmmmmmm sound almost JUST like my stingray! amazing!!!
mastadon1111 2 years ago
CascadedDemise 2 years ago
awesome, I'm glad you picked up on the sepultura influence!
wyldweasil 2 years ago
Hell yeah man. I wish I could pick fast. Iam more of a finger player, it just feels more natural to me. I do practice with a pick from time to time though. Like I said, Iam not very good. I took lessons when I was fifteen for a few months then stopped cuz my parents could no longer afford them, I stopped playing until about two years ago when I randomly picked it back up. I took lessons again but only for about a year cause ironicly I started having money problems of my own. Lol
CascadedDemise 2 years ago
Right now Iam just working, trying to keep up with my bills. I hope to continue my education about the bass in the future, Iam fixing to be twenty six, so Iam behind. BTW man, I think it's funny when people have nothing better to do with their time then insult other peoples performance videos. There will always be someone better then another anyway, so what does it matter right?
CascadedDemise 2 years ago
yeah so true. LOL
wyldweasil 2 years ago
Lol!
CascadedDemise 2 years ago
wider as you move up the scale, but starts very thin. Like I said, I don't have big hands or long fingers so sometimes it's a bit tricky for me, but I like it. I have yet to play a Warwick, I hear they have a sound to die for, but I doubt I could ever play one.
CascadedDemise 2 years ago
awesome I played a 1005 of the yamaha and it felt pretty good, but the neck widening was a little wierd, I could see that taking a while to get used too. The Warwick I played was REALLY good, just at the time didn't want to spend that much cash on something I'd beat up in a live situation.
wyldweasil 2 years ago
Yeah I know man. To spend $1600 to around $6000 for a Warwick and then have somthing happen to it would be devastating. I know they are all the rage these days but Jesus Christ thats alot of cash. I had a friend buy a Corvette 5 string once, six months later the electronics went out. Talk about some shitty luck!
CascadedDemise 2 years ago
For a nice sounding (low B) on a 5 string bass you, at least, need a 35" (long scale) bass. Fender, amongst many other mass produced basses, have only offered 5 strings in the standard 34" scale. As a result the low B isn't going to have a nice, well defined, articulate sound but will be muddy or "floppy" instead. Anyway, for a 5, go with 35" scale and, if you can afford it, go with the boutique instrument builders/luthiers. I'd rather have one perfect bass than several mediocre ones.
Cambodia69 2 years ago
I wouldn't call this bass mediocre by any means. This is the best sounding bass in my arsenal and never fails. The inch off from 35 doesn't hurt this bass at all. In fact, this actually plays better than every 35" scale 5 string that i have ever owned. Once again, everyone keeps saying it's a "floppy" B, but yet people don't seem to see how hard I'm striking the strings. That has a lot to do with it.

MrMudip666 2 years ago
I wish you'd screwed around with the knobs a bit, maybe demonstrated the use of the EQ and how the pickups sound isolated/combined. That's my only complaint though, informative review. Evil tone! I'd pay blood for one of these basses, pisses me off how they discontinued the five string.
Kuoxasar 2 years ago
woah did you add that music man pickup or did it come stock? and when did they make these?
jakenfriedlove 2 years ago
It's not a music man pickup. These 5 strings were manufactured up until about 2003. A lot of people said the active system in there made the B string too boomy, I can't say i've had that problem. They still make the 4 string version, I had it a while back, only paid half of what they are asking for it now, but that was 7 years ago
wyldweasil 2 years ago
oh it looked like a music man pickup. i was really close to getting the four string, but fender jacked their prices up by like 200
jakenfriedlove 2 years ago

This is the best bass I've ever played. It's the only bass I own right (in 4 string version) and the only I will ever need. Great bass.....
HrapovikPlush 2 years ago
Sadly no, but they do make an american Pbass in a 5 string, that plays just as good, it's on my wish list along with a stingray
wyldweasil 2 years ago
No wonder you play with a pick...
JukeBoxHero555 2 years ago
he's not shit. Watch his other videos. The bass can make the player too. Les Claypool is who he is because Carl Thompson makes the finest basses in the world. It's no humbucker. Musicman's don't even carry a distinct sound. It's just a deep tone you stupid twats
Samaflame 2 years ago
Thank you for the clarification of my "shit" playing. I have no idea why people waste their time dropping comments on me like that.
wyldweasil 2 years ago
thje bass rly only makes the player in terms of some style n tone it is mainly down to the player, les claypool is amazing because he is naturally gifted and worked hard to get tht good..not just because of his fuckin bass :P
that being said this guy is still deffo not shit, it takes alot to be shit at bass, hes okay, he has the essentialls to work from :P

nice bass. I guess you keep the action real low on it?
heckwithausername 3 years ago
nah, I keep it set to the string height in the manual.

Keep on jammin!
jbass350 3 years ago
That is an awesome bass, I played one in the store, if i needed another 4 string, that'd be the one I'd get!
wyldweasil 3 years ago
imo fenders are bad =[
they just dont have a "full" sound to me
i'd much rather have a gibson or ibanez
uberbowser 3 years ago
Stop trying out the ultra-cheap ones. Not to mention, it all matters on your amp. You can have a $3,000 bass but if your amp sucks, it's still gonna sound like crap.
iluvincitingviolence 3 years ago
but if you have a shitty bass, you'll sound like crap to ^^
Matlebassiste 3 years ago
Thanks, captain obvious....
iluvincitingviolence 3 years ago 2
You are joking?
I have a standard mexican Jazz fretless. It has more of a full sound to it than my ibanez BTB 405.
Ibanez soapbars are lacking (don't know about the barts the more upmarket ones have) I have a peavey grind bass that is a load better than my ibanez.

Daddario EXL160-5 set. Nickel. For the demo I used my Fender Rumble combo. My settings have changed since then.
wyldweasil 3 years ago
also another thing is: who gives a fuck if they bitch and moan about you using a pick. but its still nice to use your fingers so that the people who do have that as their main style can get an idea on what the finger tone is.

WHY DO USE THE PICK FOR A BASS LIKE THAT !!! ... it sucks
jamilaracaille 3 years ago
Why? Because I fucking feel like it! It's my bass, I can do whatever I want with it. It's funny, this video has 20,000 views and probably about 100 or more of those views were people writing me to voice negative thoughts or thinking I was seeking advice on my playing, I certainly was not looking for any of that.
I realize not everyone plays the same way, but a lot of you "OMG he's using a pick!" people need to realize that not everyone plays the same way and just deal with it!
wyldweasil 3 years ago
MOST Heavey Metal bass players use a pick. IGNORE ALL THOSE NON PICK USING LOSERS!!
LaynesAngryChair 3 years ago
finally, somebody gets it! Thanx!
wyldweasil 3 years ago
I have absolutely nothing against a pick (my fave bassist Dave Ellefson uses it), but you are a total jackass. I guess Cliff Burton was a loser, huh?
HrapovikPlush 3 years ago
I was criticizing dickheads like you, and "jamilaracaille" below me who put down bass players who use a pick in their videos, like it's some, macho thing, to use your hand. Some people use a pick and some don't. It depends on your music style(Rock, Funk) AND I NEVER EVEN MENTIONED CLIFF BURTON, let alone calling him a "loser"
LaynesAngryChair 3 years ago
Never in this thread have I put down pick player, you stupid faggot! Open your fucking eyes and read the post. I said my favorite bassist used a pick.
HrapovikPlush 3 years ago
personally, i dont like playing with a pick, but im not sure why you people think its such a big deal that someone else does... there are amazing players that use there fingers, as well as equally amazing players that use a pick. this is like guitar players fighting over strumming or fingerpicking.
CAPTAINOCTAVE 3 years ago 2
btw, the bass playing sounds good. try using your 4th finger a little more instead of your 3rd, because your hand looks a little strained. but good job otherwise.
CAPTAINOCTAVE 3 years ago
I play bass with a pick... because im missing my middle and ring finger...
mudshovel508 3 years ago
you definetly have my respect, coming from a finger player.

A 5 string bass tuned down one step is A standard? Don't you mean drop A? ...or is that meant to be the same thing. I know drop tunings but not the whole "A standard, B standard" thing.
Hejj10 3 years ago
no drop A would be if I just dropped one string, since I tuned the entire bass down a step it's in A standard.
wyldweasil 3 years ago
But if you tune a 4 string down to drop B to get the sound of a 5 string then you would change all 4 strings from EADG to BEAD not just one string but that doesn't make it B standard :S
Hejj10 3 years ago
actually it does. You're talking about going from E standard to B standard. Drop D doesn't mean you're tuning DGCFAD it means you're simplying tuning DADGBE. That's the difference.
wyldweasil 3 years ago
So drop B would actually be BADG? That would be pretty fucking weird lol. So if you tune down like...3 steps that would be B standard?
Hejj10 3 years ago
no drop B on a 4 string bass would be BF#C#E. Although technically that(BADG) is a drop B tuning, just not the common reference.
wyldweasil 3 years ago
There are like 2 kinds of drop B (or B standard) and bassists like Paul Gray do B,E,A,D instead of B, F#, C#, E
Hejj10 3 years ago
but BEAD is not drop B, that's B standard on a 4 string.
wyldweasil 3 years ago
Ok but you said drop B would be dropping 1 string just like drop D so how is B, F#, C# E drop B? :S lol this is confusing.
Hejj10 3 years ago
But that's the tuning people most commonly refer to as drop B. Like when people say Drop C they mean CGCF, they don't mean CADG, it doesn't make sense from a players point to tune like that. Drop D is the only instance where there is no deviation from standard tuning other than the 4th string DADG.
wyldweasil 3 years ago
Oh and btw this is the same principle as with a guitar right? And when you tune down to B, F#, B, E what would that be? There are like 2 kinds of "B standards" from what I've seen.
Hejj10 3 years ago
sloppy is not the word, i mean flexable, light, soft strings
maturanesa 3 years ago
tone is really good, but what strings are you using? that strings seems to be pretty sloppy, so when you pluck produces a lot fret noise and clicking
maturanesa 3 years ago
In the video I'm using DR strings, I can't honestly say i'm too much of a fan. I usually use D Addario's. I'm a big fan of the EXL160-5 set on this one. But I currently tried DR again and it didn't work out yet again, the B gets too boomy and the E gets over shadowed by it. I don't have that problem when i'm using the Daddarios
wyldweasil 3 years ago
shit pickups but nice song
BountyHunter233 3 years ago
sorry i dident see the back pickups

that sounds sick nasty...and i agree with PBR69, its nice to see someone just playing something fun, and not try to impress everyone. its people like you that are better because you just play bass what its meant for.
