This song will always touch my heart in a special way. This was the first song I sang to my son as a newborn... he is now three years old and when he's sad or hurt I still sing him this song and he continues to love it.

Am I lame for wanting to do this song on one of my gigs? I mean, Three Little Fishes sounds like a jazz song to me (maybe not this particular version). There's even scatting in the song "Boop boop dit-tem dat-tem what-tem Chu"--oh yeah, that's scatting! (time lapse) Just did some research on the song and it was written and performed by some jazzheads during the swing/big band era. Go figure!
