i work in telecommunications, and the iphone is rather a glorified ipod, it has all / most of the capability of most of your standard phones gps,grps, mp3 player, net access, etc.

$5 data pack - 5 meg of usage

$10 data pack - 20 meg of usage

thats telstra.

but if u really want to use the net on your phone, it makes sense to pay that much for net usage on a phone bro.
