This appears to be Turkish checkers where moves and jumps are made horizontally and vertically rather than diagonally. Also, kings are super powerful, like the queen in chess, and can zoom all over the board all at once.

i think its very similar to American checkers but you can't go diagnal and as long as theres a space available you can jump over an opponent. So by the looks of it its just checkers minus diagnal but not limited to one square to move. Really interesting, i'd like to play this
