I think this song is so much better than "We are the world" because of the lack of production, you just have the synths played by Midge Ure and the drums by Phil Collins, it sounds so raw. Sometimes a song gets so much better when it's a real rough cut.

iv'e been in africa and i saw the people dying in everyday situation, they are nice people and thier continent was rich in so manyways, but politics makes these people dying...it's hard to imagine that only few people can enjoy the natural resouces of africa,they are blind,deaft and greed to shares the treasure that is supposed for everyone in africa,i hope band aid will not stop doing this project for the people in africa.....god bless to all of you...
