An observation: The higher on the frets you play, I think you tend not to press down as firmly, and the notes don't ring out. Try to get as close as possible to the high ends of the frets and press firmly. Your fingers might get tired more quickly at first, but it sounds way fuller and finger strength will build. That's not to say that it impacted the song in any meaningful way.
