Before Melody was a professional singer she was an art student in Philly where she was hit by a car riding her bicycle. Her injuries were extensive, and affected her brain and motor skills. Left her eyes sensitive to light. Hence the sunglasses. As part of her physical therapy she took up music. And the rest is history. Good can come from tragedy. Thanks for enjoying our video.

She took up guitar as music therapy while in the hospital., Before her car accident she was already playing the piano and gigging in and around Philly. I had the pleasure of hearing her live in concert. She was awesome! She played piano, sang and played the guitar. She is truly an inspiration and a remarkable artist!
