I went to her official website and that's how the lyrics read there and every google search of the song comes up with "your notches, liberation doll" I believe the lyrics are on the inside of the vinyl album also with that great pic of her swimming on her back in the swimming pool!

Too young to be anything but slightly scared of the sheer hippieness of Joni, the sheer lefty dingbattiness, yet... yet... she is such a poet.. such a way with words.

"God goes up the chimney, like childhood Santa Claus, The good slaves love the good book, A rebel loves a cause" My word, what a lyric. And i write that as a Christian! Joni needs to understand and then believe, someone like C.S. Lewis because art ultimately does not sustain. Dangerous crutches emerge-I'm sure she's found out.
