in my experience night vision and thermal googles start appearing in the said locations when I finished the mission 'a home in the hills' which is Madd Dogg's mansion, remember if you want to keep the googles don't use parachute coz it will replace the slot in your weapons.

Rockstar are the laziest developers in the business, this needs an 8800GT level graphics card just to run smoothly on the highest settings.

I play on a HD 6950, and outside I never get anywhere over 150-180 FPS, 80FPS at the lowest.

The Basketball Glitch is a pretty well-known glitch. It was a problem that was discussed a lot on the forums, especially when San Andreas was still a newer game. I don't have a direct source for where I first about it, but there were a few people that figured out how the glitch was caused, and one of those people was a guy that went by PDEsobar on GTAForums.

Once Thermal Goggles are picked up, they will never re-spawn at that same spot ever again.

The highest I ever got was about 210000, which is an 'OG'.

I did that by maxing out the dollar amount; that gives 200000, the rest was through normal gameplay and destroying several aircraft.

The Shamal has a longer wingspan than the Rustler, which would have made some of the tighter landings more difficult. I was trying to keep the flying in the video as simple as possible.

@MDCMoxi Finish "Breaking the Bank at the Caligulas' " at Las Venturas. If you're still in the Countryside, the you probably might have to finish the San Fierro and the Desert missions before reaching Las Venturas,,, But it's very hard to do so.

@ZMOONCHILD you are just great. I watched several of your vids from SA and they are amazing.

There is one use for the Thermal Googles. You can use them for the Snapshots in San Fierro. If you don't want to use a map with all locations and find them by yourself, the Thermal Googles are very helpful. They show the pulsating coronas of the snapshots at daylight, which you normally can only see between 00:00 and 05:00 am.

1. In a gang war with no health pick-ups or armor.

2. Being chased by multiple law enforcement agencies with no alternate route for evasion.

3. Encountering hazards.

Look on the bright side, buddy. Cheats are friends not enemies. They help you give weapons, finish missions easily and keeps you on going without losing anything.

So don't put it too hard. Stop complaining.

Based on your statement, cheats are not friends, but rather an easy out, because you can't figure out how to complete the missions without them. None of the missions in San Andreas are hard; they each have their own learning curve; using cheats keeps one from learning, making them not a friend.

I have several videos that show how to survive for long periods of time with a 4-Star Wanted Level, and the alternate routes to take, again cheats take away your ability to learn, and give an easy out.

I ask you this, why would not anyone use any cheats? So that they could get busted and wasted all the time and repeat the same task yet fail the mission. Please be open minded. Cheating is fun. You just don't know how to appreciate it.

If you're not up to the challenge to learn each mission or locate weapons, then the cheats simply take away that fun. Also, using the 'pedestrians fight each other' cheat causes problems in the game, not prevents them. Using that cheat will not allow the missions 'Burning Desire' and 'Madd Dogg' to be passed, and that's a tested fact.

You stated earlier that I "put it too hard" and to "stop complaining", but I all I did was ask why anyone would want to use cheats, so that comment is irrelevant.

Night Vision Goggles enhance every little bit of available light, while Thermal Goggles show heat. Each set of goggles can allow better viewing when it's dark, provided there are extra light or heat sources to pull from.

To get any of the goggles you will have to unlock them in the storyline i unlocked thermal goggles in the mission area 69 im not sure about what level you unlock the night vision goggles because my game freezes when i start a mission but if u have dont the mission with zero's RC shop when u go into the shop after (area 69) goggles will appear in the back right corner :) hope this helped out

It's propably too early in the game. The goggles should be available for you later in the storyline.

I just found out that the Thermal Goggles can only be taken ONCE from a spawn location.

What stinks is that I didn't know that grabbing 'equipment' items like a parachute, jetpack, would replace the goggles. :(

I found out that after I did the casino robbery mission that these goggles no longer appear , I checked mad dogs house , foster valley buildings ,the big ear , zero's place and all weren't there . So save'um if you got'um. You did a great job flying and giving localities . 2 thumbs up.
