  • @Duckyistrippin

car runs just fine to cruise nights and grocery runs!

    to each his own..

  • Is it blow through set up? And amazing btw!

  • VERY impressive, dude!!! The blow through guys are catching up to the EFI guys very quickly!! Some will say they passed them up!! :O

  • @ericcasas1974 carbs are easy to make numbers with, but it will never drive as good as a well tuned efi car. period.

  • yoyo Joe .. don't know who l8on is?

  • is this l8on's car by any chance?

  • :-p

  • I don't know much about turbos with carbs. Sorry if i ask dumb questions.

Do you have to set the carb up really rich? Is there a limit on how much boost with a carb?

  • Blow throughs are set up to be run with boost referenced fuel pressure regulators. So every psi of boost fuel pressure goes up 1psi to compensate. Ive see mid 30psi of boost on blow throughs if thats enough for you. No they arent set up super rich, ive seen a/f curves that look identical to efi if tuned right. Blow through ftw!

  • @ss30378 OK I think i get how it works. I had never heard the term blow throw carb before.

  • swwet ride man, hows it all holdin up?

  • was clearance an issue? im wanting to build my motor up, but its carb'd, and i wanted a supercharger, or a turbo, but with a carb, id have to cut a hole in my hood or modify it. im trying to build a sleeper, a hole in my hood would sorta defeat the purpose.

  • with a 4" cowl hood there are no clearance issues.

what kind of car do you have?

  • an 82 lincoln mark vi

  • im sure if you get a 3 or 4 inch cowl hood there would be no problem because im prety sure they make those superchargers that setup so its like a turbo or even go turbo there is no need for a hole in your hood

  • dude go efi carbs dont work too good with forced induction but 830 is an impressive number

  • 1288hp w/ 18 pounds, don't need efi to make good numbers

  • @fouroh8 efi is for drivability, not number queens on the dyno. If your carb is tuned for that much boost, its going to be a fat pig off the turbo. tis life with linear enrichment.

  • @KaptainAmerika1

lol looks like the carb worked just fine lol

  • @KaptainAmerika1 now theres an ignorant statement

  • you could try a procharger. You get the best of both worlds. The only draw back is that it is still belt drivin. So it takes power to make power. But you should look into a procharger...

  • call CSU for a carb

  • do you need a special carb on a turbo setup? would my 4780 holley 800cfm carb hold about 10 psi boost?

    sweet job man!!!!!!!!

  • stupid question, but do you need a special carb on a turbo setup?? i got a 454 built 550hp 671tq. thought about adding a turbo or two small turbos under the truck. think my holley 4780 800cfm carb would hold about 10 psi boost? of course i think i am gonna do the e85 kit to help keep tabs on backfires.its a 1990 chevy stepside w/ 5 speed trans

  • thats what im talking about real power from a carb nice job fellas

  • how big is your turbo?

  • 80mm

  • That car is sick!!!!!!

  • Still running the 5.0 motor?

  • 302 based 347

  • Could you message me the parts list? Thanks.

  • manowar block, eagle crank and rods, manley pistons, bennett tfs high ports, custom hyd roller cam, csu carb

  • Very Nice. Sounds and looks excellent.

  • Sweet Ride!
