He drinks this way every time we go to the park as long as the provided bucket is deep enough. He submerges his muzzle up to his eyes and just gulps the water instead of lapping at it.

Guido is thirsty is my favourite Youtube video of all time....love all the water that slobbers out of his mouth and the way he nearly drowns himself in the bucket! My Spinone is not quite that bad I am pleased to say!! How old is he?

they are not my favorite dog. but then maybe if my sister (she has 3 of them) disclipned them and taught them from the time they were puppies, they would be great dogs. hers are so not mannered. they don't listen. so maybe that's why i don't care for them. i do know they crave attention & she pats them on the head, then tells them to go. I'm a cavalier king charles owner. you have to give ur poochies lots of love & attention all the time.

Oh gosh, if your sister had untrained, undisciplined, Cavalier King Charles you might feel the same way about them also! (of course, the CKC don't have the slime issue of a Spinone...!)

My Spin hunts and does show, He's well trained, comes to work with me, is well mannered and sweet tempered. He's also independent and far less needy than my Labrador.

it's amazing! My italian spinone drinks in the same crazy way as yours. aren't they great dogs? you can see my spinone italiano on youtube as well. looking as a beatle, on the couch and "who's the boss". greetings from europe.
