females rarly sing.

males are alot easyer to train to sing coz they use it to impress on the girls :)

so if you get you'r female to sing then you actualy managed to do something that is realy hard.

i'm not saying it's impossible... just hard coz females are rarly interested in learning.

Same here. But I have a male and it also doesn't talk... just whistles. But I'm not sure if it counts since it's sort of transexual lol when we bought it it was a female (a vet confirmed it when we brought it in for a checkup), 4 months later it stopped laying eggs and developed male plumage. The vet confirmed that it had changed genders and became a male bird lol

go spend lots of time next to it's cage so it gets used to you, and slowly try to coax it out with tasty treats like millet. millet is also useful to try and teach it to get on your finger. give it some time though. :)

Nah its only the song. I got him around the time i was watching alot of the x-files 10 years ago. annd since i dont watch it anymore i got him the song. back then he could clearly sing every note quite well, he lost it now.
