Hello, I have to actually perform this song for my ASL 1 class and I have been watching this video over an over watching hand movements facial experssions and hand location and how you do the sign, I just wanted to thank you for doing stuff like this
@middnightsunn No, it doesn't matter. You just use your dominant hand. Now granted, alot of ASL sites will teach you signs right-handed, but if you're left-handed just mirrior those signs. :) Hope that helped answer your question! God bless!

Wow, I just have to say I have been watching your videos for about a month now and you are so inspiring to me. I am in the 10th grade and I recently became interested in ASL. I have been unable to find any local classes for ASL, but when I doubt being able to learn I see your videos and they just show me sign language is such a beautiful art and I really look up to you as a signer. Do you and your cousin have Waardenburg-Klein Syndrome, by any chance? The symptoms you describe (deafness and changes in hair color) match up. If I'm wrong, that's fine, I was just wondering because I am fascinated with genetic disorders. By the way, Allly, great video!

Love your videos. Been learning sign from song it seems easier for me that way. I have to learn a sign praise song and teach it at work--Its called Lord Prepare me to be a sanctuary. Can you do that one? I have most of the signs but can not seem to get it right.

LOVE this one. I like how you portray the interaction between the dad and the son in the song, and like it's been said, your facial expressions really make the difference.

Imagine an entire college classroom of people shocked when the guy the teacher always criticized for never studying enough completely out-did everyone's final project with this song in ASL. I'm totally infatuated with ya both for helping me silence the class, and for those facial expressions you got there. :)

Watching you is my favorite song that you sign...i agree with the person below.. you have AMAZING facial expressions. and you an amazing signer. i am part deaf in right ear, but dont use my signing like i should just to self consiuos i guess you could say. gj though!

ASL is so amazing! Everytime i watch this video my heart tingles a little, its so touching =) what does englishy sign language mean???? ive seen people say that in coments of other ASL videos and i dont really understand. i watch your videos and i'm getting fairly good at some of the songs and signs! thank you SO much for inspiring me!

I'm not really one to listen to country music, but i just happened to decide to watch this video, because you help me with my signing. And this videos shows that ASL is not just about using your hands, but about how your expressions help convey the signs just as much. And now I like this song, cool lyrics

Do you and your cousin have Waardenburg-Klein Syndrome, by any chance? The symptoms you describe (deafness and changes in hair color) match up. If I'm wrong, that's fine, I was just wondering because I am fascinated with genetic disorders. By the way, Allly, great video!
