I did Ballet from 3-15. I didn't like it at all. I suffered through 5 years of pointe to be told last year that I'd dislocated my knee and could never dance again! Even with the surgery. God!!! All that for nothing! Well I still have piano i guess...

simliar thing! Took classes from when I was a child but had to give it up recently cause I have a problem with the shape of my toes and using pointe shoes. Only difference, I really loved it, so more of a dissapointment!!

@MissElleTaylor No I really loved Ballet! I wish I could force my knee to heal properly! But sadly I can't... You have the same problem as a friend of mine had. She had to give it up because of the same reason. Ugh... It breaks my heart on the fact I can't dance anymore. :(

urgh, the lack of arches killed me throughout the entire movie. i don't know if it was because they didn't break in the shoes properly or the girl just lacked arches but it was still painful to watch.

@ChocoChip1993 because the character in the book was blonde. she had to be blonde as the hair colour was a distinct part of the story, it represents how different each girl is to the other and so they exaggerated the colours.

I hate ballet eversince I was forced to get ballet lessons by my mom when I was little, cuz she thought I looked cute in a tutu. :( If I would eventually watch it sometime, I'd only watch it because Emma Watson is in it.

@Heroesly well the movie isn't entirely about ballet shoes. The one character in the story has ballet shoes from her mom and it sort of centers around that...Emma's character is more of an actress than a ballerina.

@Heroesly Yeah tt's not really about ballet shoes. I watched it, Posey is the ballet dancer, Pauline (Emma) is the actress and Patrova is the pilot. It's really good, even if you don't like ballet.
