  • Im an NPC bodybuilder and I have to comment on this it about made me throw up PEOPLE you are waisting your time doing these quarter squats, leave your ego at the gym door. trust me Im am far more impressed with a guy who does 225 deep then I AM WITH SOME RETARD like what you see above. do a weight you can do correctly ASS TO THE GRASS, thats how you grow. thats how you get the muscle contraction.

  • He is out there working hard you may not like the form but rob is not getting abused by anybody and actually his physique has really came out in the last few months ripped six pack so he is still in the game.

  • Fair well I see what you are saying. Even in powerlifting there is a debate over bench shirts and squat suits versus raw. Maybe ny next video i will do deeper reps.If everyone stated their opinion like you it would better because you didn't resort to the insults like some people.

  • well therealscutfarcus people can comment on the pullups but one individual didn't just say he didn't like them he was insulting me even more than his criticism of the squats and I wonder why? I don't mind criticism but insults are not needed. #1 I don't believe all of the chinups were half reps and if they were I have seen others with less range of motion than that even from an actor on the net i hope you criticized that ao called jumped weighted pullup was pulled up it felt different from the

  • Well since he is taller than some other guy he still has to travel a longer distance than a much SHORTER lifter that I know of and he is not in a powerlifting meet he is just working out. There are pro bodybuilders who squat to this depth or do not touch the bar to their chest in the bench press you do what you have to get the body that you want.

  • Sorry, but regardless of height, a decent squat should be somewhere near (a little above, at, or a little below) parallel. The guy has power, why don't you post a video of him repping out with some real squats.

  • I respect your response because at least it was not nasty like someone elses. In powerlifting the squat has to hit parallel no doubt but this type of squat in the gym does work the quads kind of like most people do not press the bar off of their shoulders in the behind the neck press and victor martinez and denis james do not touch their chest on the bench press or incline press and ronnie coleman does not lock out all of his bench presses all of these lifts would be red lighted in powerlifting

  • Like I said the dude is strong, but those were not even close to squats. I have seen more movement on a calf-raise. When, I see people doing half lifts like that I do not think that they are doing them to improve their strength, physique, or endurance. They are just trying to show off to people that do not know any better. Oh, what's up with the half pull-ups and the jumping weighted pull-ups from...Greg? Why can't people comment on them?

  • therealscutfarcus again you gave criticism which i don't mind and i may allow comments again but someone came to insults even stronger on the pullups than the squats not by you but again I wonder why? Check out some of the other chinup pullup videos on youtube. Also do you criticise the bodybuilders who do not lock out every rep in the bench or do not touch their chest or shoulders in the press you did not answer that one for me.

  • Yes I do criticize the bodybuilders who workout like that, if they are boasting about said lift(s). On the other hand, if they're on stage showing off the physique that they built from incomplete reps then...kudos to them! I guess I just get a little pissed when I look at these video titles promising something amazing and end up watching something sub-par. I do not care if it is a pro or amateur. That aplies to everything; music, comedy, sports, etc. I do not like videos that are not good.

  • therealscutfarcus I posted a response pullup with 100 pounds with a hold. I didn't consider the 205 and the 180 weighted as a jump but as I thought about it even with a jump many people couldn't touch their chin with that weight. Bottom line I may not do everything on every rep textbook to you but I felt more back stimulation on the 205 weighted alleged jump or the 180 alleged jump then I feel on 5 reps with perfect form with no weight and guess what my back has got better thicker. push press
