The 1st one is amazing. The 2nd did a pretty good job of following it. The 3rd lost focus a bit with things like the wrestling scene. The 4th isn't bad but It's all about USA vs commies and isn't about the characters really. Therefore I like the third better still. Balboa made you feel like after you had seen the first one and while it was very similar it was the best possible ending for the series.

The problem with five is that it was bookended by to silly plot points. The first was Rocky loosing everything (which is certainly possible, but too unlikely given Rocky's career connections and clout), and the second was the cool street brawl. The turning point was when Cain told Tommy that he needed to get Balboa in the ring. From THAT point the story should have proceeded in a predictable fashion back in the ring. If That happened then the "losing everything" plot would have been forgiven.

Elton John is epic. I agree, I would have liked to seen this ending for six. I just finished watching five tonight and my reaction was different this time around. I think the story was as good as six, if not better.

I didnt actually remove the creds lol i just wanted people to think i did, i re made the whole sequence exactly like the original. I used final cut pro to edit it hope that helps :D
