This version is the version she now performs live. I mean without Paul Mccoy (well in concerts before 2007 it was John Lecompt) vocals. Anyway sounds better just in my opinion this way. Just need the string orchestra from fallen and I am happy!

The other version does NOT use "autotune." it's a filter, to make her sound robotic, but the talent still comes from her own voice.

Autotune literally alters the note of a voice, filters just slightly alter the sound.

Trust me, filter on a crappy singer does NOT make it more tolerable.

Kinda "plain" compared to the other two, but I like the heavier guitar in this one :P The title of that vid says "alt take" so if THAT is true, then the one I just linked might not be the original, just another variation. Hmm, this isn't the original, although it's VERY close. The original, as far as I know it, also lacks the 12 stones guy, but is also lacking the guitar solo that's in this one, in the one I know as the "original" that whole section is actually kinda... blank and empty. It's also missing the backing... keyboard? I guess. Whatever is making that high pitched repeating noise throughout the song. I guess they did two demo's... I wonder which one ACTUALLY came first?

I like this one so much better, it's creepier and just so mysterious, the way dark rock is at its best. Love love LOVE this version! Plus you can hear her real voice more without as much autotune and I love that because it's almost showing that a computer can't replace the talent that God has given you.

This is the ultimate version of this song... No male vocals (which I think makes the song too busy) plus some KILLER guitar riffs in the chorus which they left out of the album version. (nice to hear a guitar solo in it)
