Learn your history. We didn't sell ourselves to the Christians, the Muslims sold us to the Christians. Just like in the Bible, Joseph was sold to the Egyptians by the Ismaelites. Read Lev. 26 and Duet. 28.
That's why the whites attempt it more and ensured for a while that blacks couldnt. But since that opportunity blockade has been broken you now have blacks choosing (inexplicably) themselves, not to go into these areas, and that stupid gang, material glorification culture supports that mainly by their denigration of knowledge and the pursuit of it. In sum, that culture hurts rather than helps blacks in America.
I said, every black RESIDENT (of Beverly Hills that is), not every black citizen of America. My point was, and still is, 1 in 1million who attempt to succeed at rap, sports, entertainment, acting etc do succeed, while a much higher ratio of those who go to university do succeed.

I'm a foreigner, & I always stay in Beverly Hills when I'm in LA. Every black resident is an actor, sportsman, rapper etc and 7 out of 10 whites is a doctor, dentist, businessman etc. It's easier to succeed as a doctor etc than as a rapper/sportsman etc, but it appears those who GLORIFY the meaningless crap I was reffering to don't understand this simple fact as well as those who merely DRINK them! CABICHE?
"Walk in the light of the moon, but I never been a 'batman' African call'em blackman!" Truly Poetic!
Oh boy, if we return to that kind of dance there wouldn't be an ounce of fat on our bodies. Where are my Africans! I want you! I need you! Where did you go! Where's the ship? Where do I go? Take me HOME! I'm sick of this crazy west! People have lost their minds! We're eating poisoned food, listening to devil worshipping music (new rap/hip hop) & have been encouraged to deny ourselves.
RIP PORKY...ST. ANDREWS POSSE,1990...WESTERN AND SUNSET; HOLLYWOOD. Shout out to Jeff, Frances, Johnh, Tee, Tony, Deborah, Carolyln, Guy, and the Security Guard who put up with our electric slide and pool volleyball every night!!
is eazy-e the only person in the world to have ever died of aids? i thought that PROFESSOR X got aids. eazy-e and x-clan have ziltch in common. dont try to school me on hip hop
Learnig a bit about Blackness and jammin at the same time, this will never happen again as long as today's rappers continue to degrade themselves and Blackness in America.
To be honest, when I was younger I didn't like this kind of "hip-hop." I preferred the Fresh Prince, Kool Moe Dee, Big Daddy Kane. I ignored most of the hip-hop of this time. If not for one song, "Illmatic" I probably would've went on ignoring hip-hop/rap. Close after I fell for Wu-tang and Snoop.
As a BABALAWO,it is of my opinion that this group was one of the "FEW" that was DEVINELY influenced by ORUNMILA,those of the ORISHA TRADITION know what I'm talking about....Afara ni l'ekun!!!!!!
i love x-clan

"Walk in the light of the moon, but I never been a 'batman' African call'em blackman!" Truly Poetic!
Oh boy, if we return to that kind of dance there wouldn't be an ounce of fat on our bodies. Where are my Africans! I want you! I need you! Where did you go! Where's the ship? Where do I go? Take me HOME! I'm sick of this crazy west! People have lost their minds! We're eating poisoned food, listening to devil worshipping music (new rap/hip hop) & have been encouraged to deny ourselves.
