I think that's probably taken from some standard psychological assessment for mental health patients, there are always questions hidden in there that can be taken as indoctrination. Its not their place to ask these in the first place, I think anybody feeling a need to answer them, should rather go to their therapist.
I may be that there is some science behind the questions. They may use your answers to see how likely you are to be converted and what strategy to use on you based on your personality.

The personality test is rigged. When your score is racked up the marking system is designed that you NEVER reach a perfect score. You WILL be told that you are lacking in responsibility, suffer depression and such and that $cietnology can help you with that, for a price. The downward spiral begins.
Scientology is a bait-and-switch scheme and is the point of the personality test. It is deceptive to let the people who take the test think that the analysis they receive of their results are based on their test results, when in fact the analysis is scripted, written before they ever take the test. The recommendation is always the same: Scientology. It is deceptive to offer this as a genuine test of personality.
"perfectly" (as my brother did in Hawaii--knowing the answers due to majoring in subjects like it)---they usually say you're "Glib" (didn't answer honestly) and THAT is why u need Scientology. Argh. For him, they asked him to join staff as he was "So good". He laughed his ass off. Morons.

Wow... For a religion that seems to loath Psychology and Psychiatry there questionnaire reads like a pseudo psychiatric evaluation on ones mental state.
Actually they do like it if you buy on credit, as they seem to encourage that behavior. It doesn't matter if you are the one stuck in debt, as long as they get the money after you mortgage your home.
Wow. I have a feeling your answers to these questions determine how the interviewer will go about convincing you that you "need" Scientology. Whether it's a "we can help you with this" approach, or, what methods will work best to intimidate and break this person down. Very ambiguous at fist glance so as to prevent the person answering the questions from catching on to the ploy.
This is the sort of test that says far more about the tester than the testee. :P I should make a test for Scientologists with questions such as:
"Do you often get the feeling that you are being exploited?", "Can you explain what Scientology is all about in no more than 50 words?", and "Did you know that most of the advanced OT levels knowledge base that takes years and tens of thousands of dollars to acquire through the CoS can be found and downloaded for free within minutes over the Internet?"
This is a interesting topic and I see the debate about Scientology below. It's simple people, there are many different religions and spiritual practices in the world. It seems that Scientology is a very hot topic due to how different from Christianity it is as well it is a very new religion. Of course all things new are subject to criticism, even the concept of Jesus as the son of God was heavily criticized. Scientology is in fact a religion that many find useful in life. All they had to do was tell the actual story (which is freely available, although the church does not want it out there) and put a big graphic across the bottom saying "this is what scientologists actually believe".

The personality test is rigged. When your score is racked up the marking system is designed that you NEVER reach a perfect score. You WILL be told that you are lacking in responsibility, suffer depression and such and that $cietnology can help you with that, for a price. The downward spiral begins.

It is deceptive to let the people who take the test think that the analysis they receive of their results are based on their test results, when in fact the analysis is scripted, written before they ever take the test. The recommendation is always the same: Scientology. It is deceptive to offer this as a genuine test of personality.

Actually they do like it if you buy on credit, as they seem to encourage that behavior. It doesn't matter if you are the one stuck in debt, as long as they get the money after you mortgage your home.

Wow. I have a feeling your answers to these questions determine how the interviewer will go about convincing you that you "need" Scientology. Whether it's a "we can help you with this" approach, or, what methods will work best to intimidate and break this person down. Very ambiguous at fist glance so as to prevent the person answering the questions from catching on to the ploy.

This is the sort of test that says far more about the tester than the testee. :P I should make a test for Scientologists with questions such as:
"Do you often get the feeling that you are being exploited?", "Can you explain what Scientology is all about in no more than 50 words?", and "Did you know that most of the advanced OT levels knowledge base that takes years and tens of thousands of dollars to acquire through the CoS can be found and downloaded for free within minutes over the Internet?"

This is a interesting topic and I see the debate about Scientology below. It's simple people, there are many different religions and spiritual practices in the world. It seems that Scientology is a very hot topic due to how different from Christianity it is as well it is a very new religion. Of course all things new are subject to criticism, even the concept of Jesus as the son of God was heavily criticized. Scientology is in fact a religion that many find useful in life. Except if or not.

So many people have things to say about Scientology, none of them are Scientologist. There are many religions in the world, some are very different than others. People consider Voodoo wrong, some consider native Americans spiritual practices wrong. I think that people who are negative will always find something wrong. As a baptist I think people will say the same thing about my religion.

France has charged the Church of Scientology and six of its leaders with "fraud as a group".
If found guilty, the people face seven years in prison and a one-million Euro fine. The Scientology church could be shut down in France.
The six leaders are accused of exploiting their members financially and some are charged with illegally supplying pharmaceutical products.
The conclusion to the trial is expected some time this summer.

The credit question is actually not what she points out in this video - Some scientologists have driven themselves to financial ruin by purchasing church "classes" and "services" on credit. They're actually hoping that you ARE a person that's willing to run up debt, because it will get THEM lots of cash NOW.

They are always on the cusp of some huge breakthrough or and start to really make the money but somehow they never actually do it.

See, the thing is, Jesus was a carpenter, so he had no real ability to make sci-fi stories up, so when it came to making his religion he said "I'm uh... I'm the son of their god... yeah," while Hubbard, having experience of makin' shit up, was able to say "There was this battle, yeah? And all this bad stuff happened, right? And then, erm, there were these spirity things, and they infect us, okay? And we need to get rid of them. So give me money."
