Like cars today, modern aircraft have little character.

Sure they get the job done, but no character.

If someone were going to give me one of those aircraft, I would want the P-51.

But then again my idea of a real car is a Jaguar XKE Roadster.

My idea of character in aircraft is speed, agility, stealth and strait out power! You say a Jag is your idea of a real car? It has the character you like? Thank you, and of all the heritage flights, even though the video dont show much, the formation says it all in the history of flight: P-51-1944, F-15-1969,F-16-1976, F-22-2003 (Jan. 14, 2003, first F-22 delivered to Nellis AFB. Ref. Wikipedia) That same order is represented in this particular Heritage flight.
