I'm So So Glad Gran Urshan has a place in our hearts...young and old! I'll never forget she and Sister Alice Guinn playing at Northside in St. Louis. It was ragtime piano and southern organ music with a blessing of God's spirit through it ALL!
I had the experience of living with J.O. and Mary Wallace who were a part of this awesome UPC regime! I believe Dr. David Bernard will carry further the message of the Good News as a worthy steward! Many have judged and felt the Urshans were too rigid and conservative, but thank you Lord for them and the legacy! Brother Bernard is a wonderful man of God that will enhance and progress an already superb heritage!
I would olove to hear Sister Urshan singing Harvest Time, again. That theme song of the Harvest Time radio program was such a blessing to me during a particularly rough time in my life. Is there a video anywhere of her singing that wonderful song?
This is a era that will soon be forgotten. The contribution of these two people to the making of UPCI is incredible. Her voice and the keyboard of her and her daughter was heard all over the world.
Love the old-fashioned singing! Wish we heard more of this and less of the rock and rap. I read a great article at "thisdogbarks dottt commm" called "Is Christian Contemporary Music Really Christian?" It would do us Pentecostals good to read it. It was written by a good conservative Pentecostal preacher from Arkansas. I always loved to hear the Urshan's sing and play the piano. God Bless Them!
I remember back around 1970 listening to HarvestTime every day, and always looking forward to that beautiful deep voice of Sister Urshan and the Harvesttime choir. She was one of a kind!!

I loved these people. They were genuine children of God. You can feel the witness of the Spirit of God in their singing.
