When you take videos, do you notice that it's not focused? Do you use macro when you take videos for your drawings? Because I think that is a good idea :3 (I might use my digital camera instead for macro because my video camera sucks 8\ )

I have a quick question about your process though. Do you go through and make idea sketches before you actually start really drawing it out like this? Or do you just go with whatever changes happen as you draw it?

Thank you! ^^ Well, honestly? I should always do that 8( Having thumbnails is very helpful and important (I don't know if you have noticed, on the bottom left of the paper, there is a thumbnail). And for your 2nd question, that's what happened xD; I actually changed the idea later on because idk, I guess I changed my mind ^^; It's quite common to change your mind after the idea/thumbnail though. But here's an important thing: always draw out thumbnails before drawing the real thing :3

Um, just don't put pressure on your pencil when you draw. It's like similar to brush strokes... You would need the base of the drawing first, so when you're sure about your sketch, you head into drawing darker lines for the outline. Sadly I suck at explaining.

you just dont lean on ur pencil and make sure its sharp when u start drawing the basic shape i personnally recommend u use a mechanical pencil around 0.3 to 0.5 its easier to use and u dont have to keep sharpening its ive got loads of im it helps trust me

actually, if you can't really control the pressure you give you pencil, try having a lighter lead. Like maybe HB or H. The good thing of having thinner lead is that, it's good for details. In my opinion, 0.7 is good for shading and etc.

i never actually knew that there were another branch of leads besides the sizes.

not good at bodies but i want to use these to sorta give me a clearer view of the "scribble" skeleton to draw over it.

gotta practice making the human body :3

Ah, the leads... F is the lightest then goes to H, HB, then B, 2B, and so on and so forth-- it goes darker.
