for sheer coats, you can try and put on a transparent base coat, something like appying a base make up so the lacquer will cling to the nails. :)

i also got rid of negative people in my life, especially those that only knows how to play people's emotions, always on a guilt trip or something. they don't deserve my time of day. and yes i am happier now with new and meaningful people in my life :)
