The Hankercheif wish was irony because at the begining of the story Sonic wished for hankercheifs after he sneezed on some dust from the ring when Shahra first appeared. He meant that as a joke but she granted it anyway. The irony was that his last wish was the same as his first wish.

Even though Erazor was evil, Shahra loved him. However, she knew she had to stop him. Erazor asked Shahra to stop SOnic because he thought she was still on his side.
