Hello Marillion friends.. Just to add to.. this band.. this most wonderful and meaningful of any brotherhood,... there has never been one before, they will never be here again...
i think i'm late to know this song......how pity i'm.....yes thanks 2 the internet , i like this song very much and think i just found what i wants......thank u.....damn...it's real damn good.
i would like to dance with this song, it is so smooth... it creates so many pictures in my body and in my mind, inspired to me to performance a great dance
Stunningly beautiful, an engrossing tale told with passion as only Marillion can. Steve Hogarth is a revelation, I know no other vocalist whose heart and soul shine through their work with such intensity and emotion. Just treated myself to the 'Out of Season' DVD box set - wow, pure joy!
I think this song is one of the best on marble; marble is one of the best album from Marillion; and Marillion , one of the best bands in their musical style (I had listening many bands but nothing compare with them, except Pink Floyd and genesis). I wish that they will create another album like this one, one day! God that I love their songs.
Not only is Marbles one of the best Marillion records judged by its musical merit but these songs also have a nostalgic value for me. Remembering those days of sun but sometimes thunder and lightning as an exchange student in France.... :)
I am usually trepidatious to say this about any Marillion song, as they are so many brilliant ones...but this may well be one of their very best. Their are so many songs-within-songs that tell a magnificent story here...it's nearly perfect.
May I offer a personal thank you here to the late Rob Leighton, who played this wonderful track IN FULL on his Radio Caroline show a couple of years ago.
I can't beleive how good this is. Generally I prefer fish-era but my god this just blows anything from that time out of the water, if you''ll excuse the pun.
Obviously you have never heared them play live. When you are there with them in the same room the real magic kicks in. marillion is one of the few bands who are better live then on their albums.
This is my favourite Marillion song. It's both progressive and catchy, and with enough goosebumps moments. It creates pictures in my head... my own, personal video.
It is almost unfair to hear this song live. It must be nearly impossible to do it as well on stage as they did in the studio, with all the production work and perfect timing. But this is still very well performed. Steve Rothery on the guitar impresses me more and more, and the rest of the band are excellent, too.
@kaols72 I couldn't agree more, I love it when the family are all out and I get to crank up the music, this is one of 5 or 6 of my favourite tracks the band have ever done. Rothery is awsome and a really nice guy too.
