  • @PKIvysaur (continued again) ...ure they were alright after the year that never was.. But why is that a bad thing??

I'm not a Donna hater, in fact, she's one of my favorite companions ever and I love Catherine Tate to bits. But don't insult and disrespect hundreds of devoted fans just because you don't like Rose Tyler or whatever..

    Thanks!

  • @PKIvysaur (continued) ...er, I'm just saying- don't dis all the other companions if you don't know what you are talking about.

    3) Once again, are you sure you actually watch Doctor Who? River called the tenth doctor pretty

boy in "Silence in the Library," not Donna. She may have called him that somewhere else, I'm not sure, but she's certainly not the only one.

    4) Martha.. Well, yes, Martha did leave for that reason, but she also left because she needed to take care of her family and make s

  • @PKIvysaur I have quote a few points of contention with your comment, but I'll just list a few of them.

    1) Don't bash on all the other companions. If they were all the same and all had the same qualities, what would be the point of them changing?

    2) Have you watched every episode of Doctor Who? Rose is certainly not a damsel in distress, especially when she comes back! Additionally, she wiped out a Dalek fleet too, as well as the Emperor!! No, I'm not a die-hard Rose/Doctor shipper or whatev

  • :'( explains it all!

  • Donna was the BEST companian EVER. Rose tyler fans, EAT ADDIPOSE (actualy dont!) ROSE SUCKS. She was the sterio type suck up damsle in destress. martha, she left cause she knew her love wouldnt work. Amy... u had the most time to fill in wat donna left and u blew it. Donna was the only one to tell off the doctor let alone call him pretty boy... but... BBC just HAD to wipe her memory/\....She would have been even better if she remembered him. She freaking whiped out a fleat of Daleks! DONNA ROX!

  • hahaha donna sorta got owned - by fate

  • @superFrontrunner Hope you don't get owned by the rest of her fans. :)

  • And again I find myself in a very sad mood while seeing and listing again to this vid.

Goosebumps...tears... Like I said, best companion ever and Murray Gold, what a combination.

When first meeting her in The Runaway Bride I was not so certain that Donna was the right choice, but season 4 did it.

  • Bueatiful Musis I Got to Say But Doctor isn't the same with Matt And Karen in the Doctor who Please Bring David Elisabeth Billie Chatherine back please xx

  • @SarahJaneEmmaFan Doctor Who is about change. And TBH, I'd take Matt's Doctor over David's any day. The 10th Doctor got a bit boring/annoying halfway through S4. As for Karen, I like her but don't care much for Amy as a Companion. It's Rory all the way. :D

And they can't bring Elizabeth back because she, unfortunately, passed away.

  • i cried when she left so sad

  • LOL if you type Murray Gold into itunes and scroll down, Ke$ha's new song comes up. Something tells me Murray Gold has very little to do with Ke$ha.

  • @HPislegend248 Seriously? o.O She is SO not in the same league as Gold. She's like a doped up cat with nails shoved down her throat. Some catchy songs tho'...

And I'm assuming HP stands for Harry Potter...? :P

  • Catherine Tate is a stunning actress. Why does she waste herself on that stupid comedy show?

  • I am in a constant state of mourning for Donna Noble

  • You know i was very critical of here when i heard she was cast as the Doctor's companion, but her performances throughout season 4 really did change my mind. My favourite companion so far, from the new series.

  • @ZTF24 At first, I HATED Donna, but I grew to love her. She's not my favorite, but she's a close 2nd.

  • Murray Gold worked wonders with the music as always- I could honestly just listen to the soundtrack all day.

Poor Donna, her fate was rueful indeed...

  • @xBellatrixLestrangex Whoo, you're a Harry Potter fan!!! XD Hate Bellatrix tho'. Dislike JK too sometimes; she killed almost all my fave characters come Deathly Hallows. :'(

  • it would have been more tragic if she had actually died.

  • @doctorw2 But it's sad seeing her turn back into the person she was before.

  • @SumikoMikazuki no not really, the only thing tragic that happened here is that her memories of the doctor are gone. if i was a writer for doctor who rose would have actualy died being sucked through the void and donna would have died in the final david tennant specials at the hands of the master.

  • Why did donna go? She was one of the best - you know why cuz she wernt a showoff like martha, she should vunrability yet courage.

  • @aldas1997 Sorry but I don't think Martha was a show off in any of the episodes. At all.

And Donna left cos the Doctor had her memory wiped due to the metacrisis.

  • @aldas1997 i think martha was stubborn, so i didn't like her

  • @aldas1997 i think martha was stubborn, so i didn't like her

  • @sonofthedoctor What's wrong with being stubborn sometimes? After all, she was treated like a doormat by The Doctor most of the time...

  • @doctorwhorules17 she was TOO stubborn. rose and donna were stubborn for the right reasons (like donna refusing to leave pompeii unless the doctor saved someone). also, when martha first entered the TARDIS, she kept suggesting the doctor was taking her on a date (she wished) and wouldn't stop even when the doctortold her to stop. that was the first time i ever saw the tenth doctor get annoyed with any companion

  • @sonofthedoctor Rose stubborn for the right reasons?! Have you watched S2 of Doctor Who? And that was just initial banter between the Doctor and Martha, which she later dropped because she was too excited to be travelling in the TARDIS.

  • @doctorwhorules17 yes i did watch S2, and i can't remember rose being stubborn for the wrong reasons. and i noticed that the emo side of DT only really appeared when martha joined the TARDIS crew and it remained dominant over his lovable eccentricity for most of series 3. it only died down when donna returned

  • That really was the worst fate they could have given Donna - even killing her wouldn't have been half as tragic!

  • I would not be as emotional without the music of doctor who i always cry upon hering it it just sets me off :'(

  • oh my god, i cried so much.

  • one of the things that always sorta irked me is, if donna has all of the doctors memories, then she would know more about him than anyone ever has. she would be able to remember his family and to speak the language of his ppl since the tardis doesnt translate gallifreyan. she has an extremely unique place among all the companions and i wish rtd had emphasized that. does anyone agree?

  • Most definetly, i never thought about that... good thinking!

  • @moonlitshadow27 But then she also knew his real name and that can't happen really can it

  • @superFrontrunner And so does River Song... Still not liking that character much tho', seems blah...

  • wen i heard donna was coming back 4 the end of time christmas special i was like wippy but all she was in was like 5 mins of it wen she began to rememba anmd wen she chased wilf and silvia (ur a bit old 4 hide and seek lol) and wen the masters were chasing her and she defeated them with her head lolz and wen she woke up with sean and silvia with her that was only like 5 mins there was almost no point of her coming back lol o yea and by the cafe lol

  • TBH, sometimes I still think RTD shouldn't have brought her back for just those measly few minutes! *sigh*

  • Donna's probably my favourite of the new companions thus far (full time, anyway), but I reckon Martha's probably the toughest one. Donna still has the most tragic end, though. Especially now that Rose has a Doctor all of her own.

  • @HactarThe2nd Donna does have the most tragic end, however, RTD cheapened it in TEoT2 which, sort of, just made it a bit...comical or...pointless. To me, anyways, & with all 3 Companions.

  • What was he supposed to do, kill her off? There's nothing wrong with ending the 10th Doctor's era by showing all his main companions getting on with their lives in a rather positive light.

I just hope it's not the last we see of Martha, Mickey and Jack in the main DW storyline.

  • @HactarThe2nd No, I wasn't talking about the Attack of the Killer Masters on Donna but the fact that Donna being brilliant is by having her finally married off. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but he could've shown her being brilliant elsewhere, maybe having her own business, while having already married her equally brill fiance. Donna's last scene shows her achieving only one goal - a marriage she always wanted, implying that's the only thing she ever dreamed of.

  • @HactarThe2nd BTW, I don't mean to come across as rude/arrogant or whatever you think I am - it's just that the Companions have had more than 3 goodbyes & with each of the next goodbyes getting less poignant. And, don't get me wrong, I love all Nu!Who Companions equally ('cept S2 Rose) & I'd also love to see Martha/Mickey/Jack...maybe Donna, too, back again. =)

Again, I'm sorry if my earlier comment offended you. :)

  • Nah, I wasn't offended. I just thought it was a great croup of scenes and I personally had no complaints about it. I doubt we'll be seeing Donna again, though. Her story seems pretty complete to me now. Same with Rose (thankfully...).

  • True....She made the Doctor more "human"

  • Best companion ever!

  • @awesomemac76 Some people would beg to differ, but she WAS ONE of the best Companions. :)

  • @awesomemac76 by far :)

  • Donna Noble imo was the only companion that the doctor really needed, not to offend the rose and martha fans, but she was something more. Like that best friend, no one had.

  • @omagaredx I agree with you on the last line of your comment, but I think the Doctor needs all of his Companions equally, including past Companions (except S2 Rose). Saying Donna was the only Companion he needed is like saying the Sonic Screwdriver is the only thing the Doctor needs.

  • Donna Noble savour of Creation :D. Donna was amazing. Can't wait till she returns at crimbo :).

I wish for it not to be sad :'(

  • I think it's gonna be sad...but I really hope they don't kill her off. :(

  • You and me both. I'm waiting with trepidations, especial after finding my self crying watching waters of mars.

Yeah I know, I'm a big girls blouse, but Donna's such a wonderful char, and I hated the way she left the show (Liked the way the dr told her mum to tell her how wonderful she is)

  • Nah, I don't think people are a big girl's blouse if they cry over a character; they are kinda our way of having a cathartic experience...

And I don't think the Dr should have to tell Sylvia that she needs to tell Donna how wonderful her daughter is, every mother/parent should do it of their own volition.

  • You're right, they shouldn't have to be told that. But, after standing in the playground talking to my son's teacher's assistant, I so wish that's always the case. What people say to those they love (? ) ......

  • Ahhh. I wouldn't know anything about being a parent as I'm still 18 and well...there's problems.

  • I liked this vid. I Do think it fits! Donna wasn't that confidant a person to start off with, the blustering was to cover the fact she thought little of her self, when if fact the Dr was right, she was brilliant. She grew in confidence as she stayed with the Dr and grew into a such a good roll model for people, not just women. I'll admit, I cried when she was left with her mum. I just don't trust that woman to not knock her down again.

  • I totally agree with you.

sorry i clicked wrong button i was meant to click on thumbs up one instead it clicked on the other 1.

  • np,

imdb has Catherine Tate down as one of the cast for the Christmas and new years episodes. Can't wait to see what happens. In anycase, her granddad def is in it, and I think he's great.

  • great song, not very good video. sorry, but it doesn't fit at all

  • Each to their own, I suppose, but thanks for taking your time to give some feedback.

  • I absolutely adore that lady- i can't wait for the christmas special- though how they'll bring her back I don't know nor care, as long as they do! wonderful, beautiful song and great vid!

  • Thank you for the great review! As I said below, I don't want to build my hopes up...RTD disappointed me with most of his episodes from JE onwards.

  • You're welcome. It was well deserved. I don't want to get my hopes up, either, but I can't help it!

  • I must say your video has reduced me to sobbing, something quite rare for me.

Oh god... -favourites, then continues crying-

  • Oh, I am ever so sorry for making you cry, but you should blame Catherine Tate for that; she's a brilliant actress!! She covered a great range of emotions over her time in the show; evoking some sort of response from the audience in the end. Can't wait to have Catherine back as Donna tho', but I'm reticent due to RTD's recent storylines... Anyway, thank you for your kind review!

  • I lOVE donna! she was the best Companion {Besides rose...} She was one of my absolute favorite DW charactors... I hate that she left!

  • I think almost everyone hates that Donna left, including me. :(

  • that music + Donna clips = me crying

she was brill, as was this vid

  • Thank you! You should blame Murray & Catherine for making you cry. They really are brill!

  • i love this music, it's sooooo sad - murray gold is a geneous! and watching the clip makes me want to watch the season all over again for like the 10th time (not kidding) good job with the video :)

  • Thank you! I've avoided watching s4 again on iplayer cos it's really sad knowing what happens.

  • yeah it sure is sad knowing what happens to donna :( everytime i watch it (which i've lost count of how many it is) i start to get sad around the "library" episodes cause i know that it's getting close to the end :( but i still watch it anyhow cause it's such a great season!

  • donna and martha were the best!this video was amazing!

  • They were the best and always will be the best. But I can't wait to see who the next companion is gonna be.

  • This is pretty good.

  • Thanks!

  • Donna was great, she was brilliant.

  • She WAS brilliant! She'll be missed big time.
