magnifique que du bonheur de revoir se merveilleu chanteur que démotion nostagie des annee passe j'adore que c domage de ne plus les revoir sur scene ou a la television
"Il" doesn't refer to an abstract paradise, which couldn't smile at anyone; it refers to the masculine noun "ange", but using a little musical licence, elle sounds much better coming from a man. I don't welcome male angels smiling at me! I agree, il/elle sourit, not sourie. Sorry, I hit the wrong key - my age you know. Anyway I once sang this as a duet with my wife and there were no objections to elle. You don't say what you think of the "sounds better" idea is: simply the academic approach.
No need to be Academic, it's pretty good already, the singer is Malaysian in origin, French must be very hard for him to learn. I spoke French all my life, I'm lucky. English is a much easier language to learn. I wonder if he sang Phonetically at the beginning of his career.?!?!
I'm not actually french but it seems to me that the il in the line "et qu'il vous souris" should be changed to elle for a male singer as the reference is to a real woman doing the smiling and not a masculine noun. A moot point? but the il does sound a bit handbaggy! Any comments?
The pronoun "il" in this sentence refers to the paradise ("le paradis", which is masculine in French). Hence the use of il vs elle. As for the proper spelling, it goes like this: "il vous sourit".
lagu ni aku pernah dengar masa 2 TV 3 buat show utk D' Shake ..X salah lewat tahun 80an.Memang best gilernya dan rindu nak kumpul dn dengar lagu2 france dari Dato'ni.Ada idea x camana nak dapat lagu2 ni dari CD,MP 3 atau apa2lah yg boleh utk simpan?TQ.
