  • it was work, but after you painted you should sand it with fine sand paper then painted over with clear coat, sand it again then wipe it out with slightly wet towel then painted again with clear coat, you still do it you know, it will come nice and shinnie,

  • what kind of tape to you use to mask off the car when you painted the bumpers and the sides? All the tape i have tried it winds up bleeding through. Please tell me what kind you use thanks.

  • hmm i didnt use any special mask. tape it tight is the main point.

  • @northean ude tamiya. It's yellow and comes in small rolls with various widths to choose from. If you press it down everywhere (with not alot of effort), there is pretty much NO WAY it will bleed through. Oh and it isn't vinyl tape, it's yellow paper.

  • Well if you use tamiya spray paint there's little to sand, but I saw bigger cans of diff brands, I wonder if you sanded the paint before the clearcoat.

  • nope i spray them and straight away apply with 2 to 3 layers of clear coat
