  • Thats crazy that the my name is earl guy can skate

  • im 14 and i prefer this skating over the skating of today, this has more style,, GO JASON LEE

  • Changed skating with tricks that were rather above average but made them with style and smooth skating

  • fuck, they probably didnt even pay royalties when this vid first came out.

  • Ok so, that's THE David Seville Jason Lee?! Wow awesome

  • @MsGoomba123 Correct! : D

  • i was born in 91

  • wooww... Jason Lee was a cool dude, now is a scientologist.

  • you should re post it again maybe then theyl will lay off you because the music at the car crash part needs to be in there

  • theres a liquor right there dude, so pull over, its a yellow sign

  • It's funny cause if I were to put the same tricks in a video a company would not even watch my tape but back then he was the best

  • Jason Lee : the most karmic skater of all time

  • Best skate video ever. The golden era. If I die tomorrow I still got to experience skateboarding in the early 90s.

Only flaw: They should have placed dummies inside the cadillac instead of it being obviously empty. Would have been hilarious watching the dummies flap around before crashing.

  • legend

  • fucking awesome quality

  • Best skate vid ever made 1.50. Smooth as fuck 20 years old the vid but its fucking rips al day long

  • FUCKING LEGEND

  • fank fuck he became a actor not a singer

  • damn had to ruin the cadillac haha

  • whats the song called

  • dude just the part with guy mariano behind the wheel with a bottle of bacardi makes everything 1000x better

  • this quality is mindblowing, i think it's better than the dvd reissue they made

  • Mark Gonzales is a relate cousin to me. My grandpa's sister's grandson ? Don't what that'd make Mark to me but that's the closest to a celeb fam member I have.. I used to this video on vhs and my friends and I would watch this and think we were invincible and could skate anything.. this was circa 1995 (im 27).. Mark G grew up in south gate/huntington park area.. we have/had a video of him ollying a wagon at a fam reunion.. Last time I saw him was @ his granpas funeral n I didn't talk to him.

  • @mixwell1983 do you ever talk to him

  • @1gamerkid111 - The only time I saw him was @ his grandfather's funeral and I didn't talk to him, I was about 16 back then and not very much of a talker, I regret it now though. Currently he's in France and is into art and photography from what I've heard..

  • @mixwell1983 That's pretty cool to be related to a legend from such a golden era. Is Mark full mexican or half? Not that it matters, just curious cause of course the name Gonzales is mexican but he doesnt look it very much.

  • @Lavern4101 - He's not full mexican, his grandma (my grandpa's sister) was married to a hispanic guy which is on his dad's side but I'm not sure if his pops married a mixed, white or hispanic chick to be honest.. I don't really follow family history too close haha.

  • @mixwell1983 Auh I see. Again, that's awesome that you're related to a legend like the Gonz. And when I say legend I dont mean that lightly, he's respected and adored by probably millions world wide. What he did for skateboarding, the sport cannot thank him enough. Natas Kaupas and The Gonz are true pioneers.

  • @Lavern4101 - Haha I used to have a board back in the day by Natas, i thought at the time the name was backwords for "satan" but i duno.. thanks bro. i hear Mark is living in Paris now and is into art and stuff

  • Awesome upload. who doesn't own the Low Rider song anyway?!

  • 3:13- is that the same place from streets of fire the natas and dressen parts?

  • Thanks for re-posting this part. Seriously my all-time favorite. Never gets old.

  • seriously stoked on the video quality

    come back jason!

  • 3:27 - 3:29 was one of the most breakthrough moments in skateboarding history.

Jason Lee is one of the pioneers of street skateboarding,

and bringing it onto the mainstream.

    This guys is a legend...

  • @w4fflezZ - Ya I agree and sadly most people only know of him cuz the my name is earl show or whatever the hell it's called.. i actually thought it was weird seeing him in films but i bet the people that know him from film would think it's weird seeing him skate haha

  • @w4fflezZ That entire line is just killer, always loved it. I'm not a huge fan of 360 flips anymore, but Jason did them so stylish, loved em.

  • @w4fflezZ wtf? hahahahaha

the only reason you like that is because it's a fucking tre flip down a stair set

they were doing stuff like that 2 years before this video even came out

Colby Cart and Jason Rogers were doing tricks down multiple sets of stairs in the Hokus Pokus and Risk it videos

  • haha, awesome thanks. i still remember the sinking feeling in my stomach the first time my friends and i watched the end, we fell for it.

  • lol, same here. then rudy johnson's came across with the 900 number haha.

  • @don1970. search "mark gozales-non fiction street part" and watchit. you will dig it. he skates faster than dressen. were you born in 1970? if so what month? i turned 40 jan 26. strtd st8ing in 84ish.

  • Oh yeah, I've watched his Non-Fiction part a few times...GREAT! Will hit 4-0 in Aug! Started skating in late 86 early 87...somewhere in there. Goodtimes.

  • kool. trust me 40 dont feel any diff than 39, lol. where did you grow up? i grew up and skated in dallas tx. one of my good friends is craig johnson, was a pro for zorlac.

  • @oldskoolsickboy4life I grew up skating first in San Antonio then moved to a small town called Kerrville. I remember the texas pros at that time like Jeff Phillips (rip), Craig Johnson, Dave Duncan. Those guys were grimey but they were the real deal.

  • @Lavern4101 awesome! i didnt know duncan was a texan, thats sick. just went to the jeff phillips tribute jam a few weeks ago, hosoi, crum, navarrete, plg, and several others graced our presence. it was sick. texas had several pros then, john gibson, godoy twins, danny hollenbeck, robbie becker, and im sure im forgetting somebody.

  • Yeah, for real, thanks for reposting this. This was awesome.

What's the 2nd song (starts at 3:09)? Good stuff.

  • The song is "Real World" by Husker Du.

  • what's the first song in the video

  • milk- knife song

  • the knife song by Milk

  • @Thrillhouse5000 the knife song by milk

  • @Don1970 wats the first song

  • @sanpauloboys the knife song by Milk

  • a pitty, I liked the trumpet part of low rider. Anyway thanks for uploading. It's been a long time since I saw that video :)

  • what a great part. the kickflip to revert thing is the coolest looking trick ever. Thanks for hooking it up bro.

  • wait, is this the same guy as the actor from my name is earl?

  • Yep.

  • Thanks for re-posting this! The skate scenes look like they were shot in San Francisco. Jason Lee is cool as hell no matter what he does! 5/5
