You could have just said, be strong - dont allow anyone to accept you as less than you are ! Principalities out there that we war with can come down to a power struggle which has nothing to do with either person other than they have allowed themselves to become subject to it and impose them selves on others. Not nice.

Thank you so much for this. I wish I could just stop paying too much attention to how other people react to what I say 'cause sometimes their facial expressions distract me and make me feel that whatever I say isn't worth listening to. I know there are numerous times when I made a comment and it was right AFTER the rest of the people had their "say" and I felt the need to share mine, I can't get over the feeling that they just don't want to listen. :(

Thank you. I seriously deal with this everyday at school. This one girl fits your entire description. And she'll randomly glare at me- from a distance. It's not we're friends or have a group of mutual friends. She's in a few of my classes, and she always just gives me that "You are crazy scum, dirt beneath my feet" look. About every ten minutes at least. So thanks for this video. :)
