Saying prayers for u love. I went into preterm labor at 25 weeks delivered my son at 26.6 weeks. I started contracting very early as well. My water ended up braking. My son was 2lbs 5 oz 14 inches long now he's 19 months old and kinda healthy alot of issues with his lungs though. Anyways im pregnant again im high risk now and I get shots every week to keep this baby in. Lots of love and prayers being sent ur way. And the steroid shots there giving u are going to be a blessing to ur babies
@1Gavinsmommy thank you yeah i get weekly progesterone shots, & i take Terbutaline every 4 hours so i know the Dr.s are doing everything they can i just hope i can keep them in until at least 30 week
What a cute bump. I am 32 weeks and have about half of that bump. I am kind of upset. But he is measuring fine so I am not worried, but still makes me sad.
@exoticsin16 lol if it makes you feel better because of the way I'm carrying them I'm as big as i was when i had my other two but usually your tummy's smaller with your first because it's never had to stretch before ;)
so glad you guys are getting some help. even if its just around the house help and playing with the kiddos it will relieve alot of stress on you and hubby. praying for you guys and you especially to keep those babies in there till jan.
Happy to hear you have help. Mother in laws are great. Be lazy lazy and keep those babies in. Do they still stitch the cervix closed? It may be an old school thing, but have they mentioned doing that? I will keep you and your family in my thought and prayers.
Praying for you and your husband for strength during this time! I can't imagine what yall are going through, so glad your mother in law is coming out:)
I've been watching your progress for the last couple of months. Just wanted to send you some positive thoughts and well wishes! You sound like you could use the rest even without being on bed rest! I'll be thinking about you and your little ones and hoping for the absolute best outcome for your family! Best of luck!
I just found yor page. Are you in bed right now? : ) I hope so. I hope you have help. Is your husband deployed? Thank goodness for family! Good luck to you!
@TheDizzymom i am glued to my recliner lol, MY Mother in law flew in yesterday so yes i have some amazing help ( & am so grateful for it ) & my husband isn't deployed at the moment but he can only help out so much because of his responsibility in the unit
@Madisonmadi1 yeah i'm freaking out inside but trying to stay level headed for the babies that's the best thing i can do right now & thank you for your thoughts
Well Im glad that they are doing everything they can to stop you from going into labor and doing everything they can to make sure the babies are as ready as possible for when they do come, rather than just sitting back and seeing what happens.. Sounds like you have some good doctors. And hopefully you can make it to 34 weeks or longer. Take it easy and good luck. =)
I hope they stay in till then hun! Fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed for you!
I too have been 'diagnosed' with that so for future pregnancies I have to have a cerclage done, was that ever an option for you? or did they ever talk to you about one?
@xExanimate yes, & that was the "plan" if anything happen but unfortunately i'm now a week & half past where they could do it so i just have to be closely monitored so i have a weekly shot, a bi-weekly ultrasound & of course my regular dr. appt so i'm hoping they will be watching closely enough nothing else will happen (*fingers crossed* ) my Dr. goal right now is to get me to 30 weeks & it will hopefully be extended from there
At 28 weeks (with one) my cervical length was at 0.7mm and when I would have contractions my cervix would open and close. I was on bed rest in hospital until 33 weeks and then again at home until 36 weeks. I ended up having to be induced at 37 weeks and 4 days because of my blood pressure so don't worry! You will make it!
@xExanimate yeah unfortunate i have developed a in complainant cervix during this pregnancy so what will more then likely happen is at some point my water will just break my doctors are hoping to get me until 32 weeks but aren't expecting me to go past 34 weeks that's when my water broke with my son :( but I'm hoping for the best & trying to stay positive)
Hey hope your doing oky ?

Have they mentioned sewing your cervix shut? My friend had started dilating early when she was pregnant with twins and they sewed her cervix shut.
