No offense, but no one could have stopped the Natural disaster of Hurricane Katrina. Obama made promises that will NEVER happen. He can't fix all that in a 4 year term... hell not even an 8 year.Obama is not that good of a President.. Bush made HORRIBLE mistakes i do agree. But electing Obama was also a mistake. Bush did ruin this country but wasnt that bad at first. The war in Iraq was not nessecary at all. But to call The War on Terror as a senseless war doesnt make sense. They attacked us and killed hundreds of Americans. Therefore, in ur eyes, we r supposed to sit tight and do nothing about it. Bush was right about going into Afganistan. That these and many other politicians have tolerated and engaged in untold corruption is the fault of an American public which does very little to get involved in politics. Our politicians are beholden to special interests both domestic and foreign because the US public does nothing to make them directly beholden to the US public. 1)No foreign campaign money or influence allowed. 2)No for profit campaign money allowed. 3)The public votes intelligently, not how the mass media tells them to vote.

G.W. Bush destroyed 2 totalitarian regimes. This is always good because it increases freedom and democracy. His only mistake was not to commit more troops and finish off the terrorists faster, but this is armchair war fighting in 20/20 hindsight. Clinton pushed and signed the Graham Leech Blighley act which dismantled the Glass Stiegal act and led to the banking disaster of 2008. Bush and Obama both failed to stand up to the bankers and force them to be responsible for their criminal behavior.

The economy was headed towards melt down before bush got into office. The signs where there he and other tried to fix it but where laughed at by the same people who where incharge when it all went south and blamed him...of course those same people are still incharge.

Comrade Person, today (1/31/2009) millions of Iraqis participated in local elections. They will soon be holding the first national elections since 2005.
Iraq is much more peaceful and violence is very low. Democracy has taken root.
Are you saying America should never have invaded? If so Saddam would still be alive and Iraq would still be a tyranny.
Iraq has blossumed into a free society (not perfect yet) and you can thank Bush for that.

I will forever stand by that George Bush is not the worst president ever, nor did he alone cause any of this. Louisana, more specifically New Orleans, before the landfall of Hurricane Katrina was well aware that they were going to be hit with a very powerful hurricane, however due to mismanagement in the Louisana state government, no effort was made to evacuate any of the residents within the path of the Hurricane. Iraq, we shouldn't have gone but we just can't leave without finishing.
