I think the Insignia looks fanbleeding-tasting, much better than the Vectra or the Passat, as they where boring and daft with all the straight lines and everone has one and such things. The Insignia looks refreshing and crisp, just so 10's and not 00's, I like it alot!

Vauxhall is just the name given to Opel cars in the UK. They are exactly the same car. It's like Honda and Acura, etc.

Opel aren't Vauxhall and vice versa. Both were bought by GM decades ago and had completely different models in their respected ranges. The models were aligned to reduce expense as they are both just GM but neither compete in the other brands territory. Vauxhalls and Opels are built side by side in Britain and in Europe. The cars are simply given the badge that reflect the original brand of its destination. So they are just both GM. (At least they are at the time of this posting)

I like this car....The Vauxhall Range (apart from Meriva) is very good....

The Mondeo is big and way to boxy compared to this....Laguna is just different (nothing bad in that) Avensis just to plain and boring.....

i think the vectra looks far better than this insignia, the body is a disgrace shape wise, front grill is rediculous, steering wheel is bulky and awkward, vauxhalls have never had a good driving position apart from the Omegas, i know this because i've owned nearly every type of vauxhall from nova's to omegas. it upsets me a little to see this car looking like it does with NO personal character, its just another gay euro design. damn..

The Astra is British..Opel called it The Kadette and decided to call it Astra Built in the UK..Vauxhall has over 100 years of History and was bought with Opel by GM Europe and combined models to save and make money.

yes, but opel is funded by GM, so whatever they make, it's GM's and also, GM have different teams of designers, engeeniers etc, for example, the new Astra was designed in UK by vauxhall, the VXR8 and the Manaro were designed by holden in australia, and ofcourse, the one and only insignia was designed in germany by opel. thougt it doesnt make it exclusive to opel or anything, it's just different teams working within one company.

@markTK901 opel has been around for 111 years, they just celebrated with their "111" limited edition models, Vahxhaul is and Opel with a Vauxhall badge. Vauxhaul was founded in 1857. General motors bought Vauxhaul motors around WWII. Since the 1970s GM basically produced opels with Vauxhall badges sepecifically for UK market.  So your Vauxhall is an Opel nothing more.
