There was the british mandate of transjordan, which was meant to be divided between the Jews and the Arab muslims, 20% to the Jews, and 80% to the arabs. This was never achieved under british rule because arab muslims refused to allow this to happen. After the british left, the Jews who lived there decided to establish their own country anyway, and in 1948 Israel was reestablished as a Jewish state.

Even if they fired from the helicopter they did not do so while the bats and clubs were swinging. The shooting happened towards the end when you no longer see swinging sticks. There was the british mandate of transjordan, which was meant to be divided between the Jews and the Arab muslims, 20% to the Jews, and 80% to the arabs. This was never achieved under british rule because arab muslims refused to allow this to happen. After the british left, the Jews who lived there decided to establish their own country anyway, and in 1948 Israel was reestablished as a Jewish state.

9 commandos were injured during the attack.
4 of were shot, 2 of them by pistols taken from the soldiers taken hostage. 2 soldiers were shot by 9 mm rounds that are different to any weapon used by the soldiers. The captain of the ship testimony was that he witnessed some fire arms thrown overboard. A few of the passengers, some of the real peace activists, tried to protect the 3 kidnapped soldiers who were by than unconscious.
None of the real peace activists was hurt

The blockade in Gaza is ill-legal, Israel is in continuous violations of UN resolutions. To invade a NATO ship, in International Waters alone, gives the activist a right to defend themselves. They were notified by Turkey, who are trying to establish peace for everyone in region, that this ship was searched prior and not armed.

Well, i am from Turkey and i think this all thing is a scene prepared by turkish goverment and some other mostly muslim people under the name peace. Goverment here in Turkey is highly conservative and because Turkey is a secular country, their efforts of trying to change laws of the state was blocked by the court, now they are trying to get some more conservative votes and looking like they are against israel and all. That's a paintball gun (You can see the paintball hopper clearly @ 1:03) and they're firing CS rounds. If that was an actual weapon firing live rounds you would see a greater flash and people drop. You see the attackers (PA) turning away from the CS rounds striking them in the face. You can also see one (PA) attacker wearing a gas mask @ :59. The Israeli Commandos showed incredible restraint.

Even if they fired from the helicopter they did not do so while the bats and clubs were swinging. The shooting happened towards the end when you no longer see swinging sticks. By then at least 2 soldiers were thrown over deck in the different angles I've seen and one was beaten pretty bad from the video.

Pity we did not shell it, we did not have to risk the life of our soldiers. btw: search for Struma in wikipedia, THESE were really people in need!!
