They dance like Michael Jackson. Are those dancers/actors South African dancers or hired African American dancers? Sorry just had to ask, cuz I can't tell the difference? Thanks for posting, I've enjoyed every bit of this clip.
These dances are purely SOUTH AFRICAN choreographs. The jumping and turning and the dance by the guys is one done by men known as "showboating" is customary of Traditional Sout' African dances. I hope you guys know that. If anyone influenced the other, I believe Michael was influences by African dances
@gbalah162 Even Beyonce said her famous shaking booty move was an African copied move. Im an African guy and i can do the Beyonce's move with ease. Very soon, they will claim Africans copied their moves from Beyonce. The CONTINENT that ROCKS....VIVA SOUTH AFRICA VIVA AFRICA
Everybody see MJ influences in everything, but he (although very talented) was not so original as pop people think. His very coreographies started with the great influence of Bob Fosse. Just watch the clip "Snake on the grass", from film 'The Little prince'. In the end, Africa influenced all of them and all of us in many many beautiful ways.
MJ got influenced from this, not the other way around. many of MJ dances are originally african.. example, the song ..mamase mamasa makossa is originally from a cameroonian(central africa) artist. so pls get the facts straight..
This film is one of my greatest inspirations of all time.
