First of all my spanish is not so well but enough to understand that you wrote that this song was inspired by Patty Boyd. Well you're wrong. This song was written by Billie Myles. Freddie King recorded this song in 1960 and later in 1970 Eric recorded this song with Duane Allman ( aka Sky Dog ) in the band Derek & the Dominos : LAYLA ( and other assorted love songs).
If you're a Clapton fan you should have this record.
@AMADEUS051148 Well, you're right this song was not written for her, but Eric included it on his album because he wanted to give her all this songs that talks about the pain of a man for a woman and I am in a mistake that's true but I feel that it was written for her when I hear this song in his own voice. So I will edit the desciption in the video. Thanks for your observation.
@AMADEUS051148 I think he means she inspired claptons desire to do several wicked versions of the song. We've all been there with a woman we cant have and it hurts like fuck. But billy myles or freddie king or eric clapton dont inspire me to play this tune myself that woman does. Thats what its all about isnt it? doesnt matter who wrote it
@AMADEUS051148 You're wrong, it doesn't say that eric clapton wrote the song, it says that the whole album was inspired by Pattie Boyd, the album has some covers
Pattie tambien fue la musa de George Harrison cuando compuso Something...debe haber sido una mujer muy especial para inspirar temas como estos!! Diooooss esa guitarra!!! muy bueno el video!!
