I do not know if anybody in this group uses Webex for conferences, but I have had a very bad experience with them. Use TEAMVIEWER. It is completely free and always works
I could not connect, but according to their "invoice" department. I was in a meeting for 284 minutes and they charged me $93.72 for it. It is up to me to prove that I did not have a meeting, which obviously I cannot do, because I cannot prove that I did not do something.
@oOViperrrr6Oo Using the software covered during this session yes, your computer does need to be on. However, you can get hardware that can function in sleep mode and turn the computer on when you need it.
On windows i'w found somthing intressting: Remote Assistance. Geting help by another person byt holding the remote open forever. Use Remote Desktop to acces it later with the ip+extra. Here you wont need any program, just open acces: #1 Press F1 fron desktop #2 clock on the right: Invite a friend to connect to your computer #3 Invite Someone to help
Hi Jim, I replied to your message twice but the answer did not save. I found logmein able to work with various firewalls enabled, so you should give it a try.
It is free, they do have pay for version with more features. So, the hook is you will like the free version so much you might be interested in purchasing the pay version at a later date.

Does it work better than Windows remote accsess ?
jhorak202 3 years ago
Yeah, I've been using that for a long time, too. I still like Remote Desktop better, though.
