Went here about 2 years ago, the lady in the museum reception is the most scariest thing about the place - very strange.

some one i work with stayed there on the weekend in room 6 the most haunted room and left my 12.30 and at 12.00 is get soo spooky at the staff leave and its just you there ...........

i went here after i trip around cornwall, when we first got there, although it was mistly, there was no wind at all, but the sign was swinging. when we were staying in the hotel there, we could here someone pacing the corridoor, several people went out - including myself - but no one was ever there. people have also said that when they're there, someone has been playing with their hair.

i went there last year, its the only place i have ever been able to leave the dogs in the car without them barking. i went to use the toilets in there and as i aproached the door it opened for me.

My aunt has been here before and she told me that my unle went out for a fag ,while he was gone she saw some thing at the end of the table she looked up and saw a man dressed in a long blue coat stood at the end of the table and he walked straight through the door that was LOCKED at the time. When I went there the other week i thought I saw some one in the same type of clothes go behind my brother in the story thingy and my cousin who we went with turend round and asked were you tapping me?

My friend Ben stayed there the same week the Most Haunted team visited. He brought me back a book saying all about the ghosts there. The horses in the courtyard is a true story. The man in a green coat however, is just a story. A woman spirit is there, not a man. The man outside who disappeared after being at the pub is also, just a story, he was seen in a nearby village the next day.

i stayed at the jamaica inn for one night at room 9, and we could all here like loads of tapping and stuff, it was a real spooky experience just dont go to number 9 :/ lol

apparently there have been a few ghostly sightings around the area. and i know the building opposite the jamacia inn is haunted becuase my brother used to live there!

My uncle took a photograph of my aunt sitting on the wall outside the pub and a well defined apparition of a man in a tricorn hat was stood next to her. they had it analysed and no fault could be found either with the camera or processing. thanks SM for the posting.
