  • exactly what happened to mine >.<

  • My Sanyo lasted 2 years. Never again Sanyo.

  • i have an lg 2004 model bout same size as that one but mine those a blue screen n all that stuff like that one did but the stuff that happen to that one only happens to mine when i push the menu button but it stil those the blue screen can anyone help please tell me what to do

  • mine did this i had to bake the board in the oven and its workin now and has been for over a year

  • I know whats wrong with your tv. You fucking ripped its spine out

  • it's because you got a Sanyo.. Stick with Panasonic, LG, or Samsung Plasmas.. :)

  • buffer boards both uper and lower

  • Replace every electrolytic capacitor, frankly cause since this is sanyo it will have sanyo capacitors in there. And well sanyo is legendary at making crappy capacitors and crappy batteries too.

  • hey the tv is good to use as a rave party light.

  • buy a Panasonic. Panasonic rocks!!!!!

  • might have bad soldering on the board somewhere, id get a heat gun and heat everything up hot and let it cool then try it again

  • its ur capacitors on the power board....

  • I have a new 50 inch Sanyo Plasma.. It's a nice looking TV ,and has a very solid stand ... For me the picture is too dark ,, it keeps making me want to peel a dark tint film from the screen , but of course there is none.... I tired to brighten the pic but it just loses detail then.... Not good for a room with natural light .. If the picture could be adjusted to a hotter pic it would be fine...

  • i have the same exact problem it just happened to me today after like 3-4 years with this tv

have you found out how to fix it?

  • ditto, anyone find a fix?

  • Don't buy sanyo, its so fucking shit why wouldn't you spend 200 more for a Samsung or better yet 500 more for a Sony.

  • well, so far every sanyo plasmas iv tore apart all have samsung parts in them, the dp50747's y,x, buffers, and even the screen are all made in a Mexican samsung plant. so you really dont look like you should be recommending a tv to anyone, and Sony hasn't been a good brand since Walkman

  • sony is the best BUY SONY

  • Don't buy Sanyo

  • @RulerRyze friend of mine JUST bought a 50" sanyo. my first word was fffaiiilllll.

  • Wow! Thats a first. I've always known Sanyo TVs to be rock solid when it comes to reliability. =\

  • @videoslacker

me 2, I have a Sanyo tv that is 20 years old....maybe this panel is from phillips :).

  • @mikeisbright The 3 brands of TVs that I've always stuck with were Sanyo, Samsung, and Panasonic. If you know where to look, you can find some great pricing on them too. I mainly go to pawnshops or ask if display models are for sale. The brand I've avoided was always LG, I just had bad experiences with those TVs.

  • dude. my sanyo is only like 1 1/2 years old and it just stopped workin. it wont even turn on. : - ( does any1 kno what part i need or if it can even be fixed?

  • try plugging it in...

  • Well start off by replacing the caps on PSB to UF 16V. Doesn't matter if its LCD or PDP. Bad one will be poped buldeg or raised at top (X). THen you can look further into replacing the YSUS and the 2 buffers that go with it. need more help email me

  • I think the horizontal processor is dead but i dont know much about these TVS but something is messed up

  • could be the image processor

  • is that a lcd or a crt?

  • Plasma television

  • fried image chip

  • connect the three black wires to the color tubes and uses electric tape to tape it together.after that yank out the two red wires and switch them.....it will work but sadly the tv will flash every 30 minutes! tell me if it works ....if it doesn't work i will tell you another way to do it..

  • Did is suddenly happen like that one day or did it start showing lines and got worse with time? I have a Zenith that has a six lines on it now, I think it's processor related...

  • This looks Verry similer to what my funai is doing tell me do you still have sound and what hapens when you triger your OSD omg the back end looks almost idintical to my tv!

ok watching while i typed this :p

Well actuily mine is more flashy :/ i'll try to uplaod somthing

  • no sound on mine. Seems like a lost cause. I have looked for a similar tv with a broken screen for cheap so I can fix it, but no luck after several months.

  • Don't buy Funai
