Another ludicrous "Top 100 Guitarists of All Time" recently in Rolling Stone.....Willy Nelson....Kurt Cobain....No David . Hilarious. Ever see Clapton play an oud?
Saw them do this song in Milwaukee back in Sept. 2010. Being younger, I never heard the song before. Loved it, very well done! It stood out during that show...
For all those who love David Lindleys music, go to HIS site and buy a cd or two(buy from him direct via website or at one of his solo concerts) OR book a night out to see him. You will not be sorry. He truly is one of the finest musicians of our time and one of the nicest guys you'll ever wanna meet.
I agree, BradVan. The musical genius of Lindley is like a fine wine w. a long finish... you need to really get a taste before you truly appreciate the complexity. Album on the way, maybe DVD?, from Beacon Theater, NYC, 9/15
These guys should record this song a put it on an album. They do it better than The Boss. A beautiful musical transition here. David Lindley is the most underrated guitar player in the world..........Pure genius, a road that twists turns and leaves you breathless when you least expect it too. Jackson Browne has never sounded better.
@chris10702090 Or me. I've always placed him in the top three best guitarists out there. I've had the pleasure of seeing him 13 times, 9 of those with Jackson.
@QueenBeatlesWings you're right and JB has been friends with Bruce forever also who wrote this song. JB and David Lindley always good and, yes, they do this well - spoken from a Bruce fanatic!
It was great ... I was there, too ... (waited 22 years to see Jackson again ... 1988 in Essen) and 2010 in Hamburg!!!! Thank you for the video!!!! Looks like me and you side by side ;-)
Two of the world's greatest musical talents. Jackson and David always perform wonderfully well together.

a fitting song for two such close friends/musicians who've played together so long they're almost like brothers
