11 years ago I heard this song while laying on my bunk in the county jail. In fact use to sleep with my head phones on because it would be so loud. I heard this beautiful song and I awoke crying. My only recollection of this song was "if you want me to" and hearing the radio dj say "Jenny owens.I promised myself that I would try to find this song when I was released. Hear I am keeping good on my promise.I just found out that she's blind. God has truly blessed us with an Angel. Ms. Owens thanks

4 years ago I got clean and sober. I got my confidence, self respect, family, job, and spirituality back when I did this. One of the biggest influences in keeping my faith strong was this song. I heard it on a local Denver Christian radio station, The Point, and it caught my spirit and lifted it up. Thank you, Ginny for the help. I did not know that you were blind at the time but when I found out, it made me want to be even more faithful. I am so Blessed to have found Christ in you.

How can I explain how this song has helped me accept some changes in my life that I wished would have never happened. I was in a very down state when I first heard this and it helped me to hear what was in my heart. You can tell that she has "walked through the valley and fire" When she sings about feeling ignored in your prayers - but it ends with surrender and a connection that gives you hope and courage.
