wow..was just a kid when this song was out, remember it well and should've gotten higher than #39 on the Hot 100...got a lot of airplay by me..I'd love to see this song redone by a contemporary group today..somehow No Doubt comes to mind haha! just an awesome song overall!!
Wow. Somebody has pulled out their Get Wet videos here on YouTube. Do some searching and you'll be surprised what you find.
Amazon MP3 now has the Get Wet album available for download. It has a copyright of January 1, 2009 on Boardwalk. Very interesting that it finally made it to a digital format! However, the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Sounds like it was mastered from an old cassette, unfortunately.
"Just So Lonely" by Get Wet peaked at #39 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in May 1981, spending on total of 9 weeks on the chart. In Australia, it was an even bigger success, peaking at #15, spending a total of 23 weeks on the singles chart.
As for downloading their songs on the Internet, good luck! I cannot find any of their music anywhere for download, with the exception of poor vinyl rips of "Just So Lonely" popping up here and there. If I can get my hands on a copy of their album I may be willing to get one of those USB turntables to transfer and remaster the album myself. Anyhow, may I ask where you found the album for so cheap? It's quite expensive everywhere I look.
someone knows where i can download their songs? I own their vinyl but I don't have the player :( I admit that I bought it just because the cover was AMAZING and it was unbelievably cheap, but after listening it for a few times I liked it...
Sugil, I have "Just So Lonely" available for download in high quality in both it's original LP version and 7" Version. "Just So Lonely" finally appeared on CD on 'Then: Totally Oldies '80s Again Vol. 7' in 2004. However, although the sound quality is good it is simply a vinyl rip! I attempted to remaster the track myself this past summer. Send me a message and I'll be more than willing to link you to it.

I remember hearing this song many times back in '81. This was probably the first time I've heard it since then.

And a special thanks to YoungDot82 for uploading this video again after disappearing from YouTube for quite some time.

Thanks Bell...it disappeared because I originally posted it & YT cancelled my channel/s. (Twice...2 different user names).
Viacom UK sent me 10 copyright infringement notices in one hit & my channels were auto-cancelled.

@YoungDot82 Do you get any actual fines for copyright infringement? Or do they only ban your account?
