Freedom for the Iranians will not be free. You must be willing to die for a cause if you want real change. Although many of those who stood up to tyranny and enslavement were killed and arrested, their message of equality and the right to consent matter the most. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. I hope that more people join the freedom movement, which is what this truly represents. : )

I'm all for overthrowing the saudi goverment. The reasons for going to war with iraq were a lot more complex than you think. You have a very simplistic view of world affairs.
The number of people killed in the war is below 100,000. The Lancet study has been wiedely discredited and was the only one to come with the ridiculously high numbers. Saddam is responsible for about a million deaths (Iran-Iraq war, crackdown on shiites etc.)

The fact is, is that Ahmedinejed won the elections even in a recount. Like him or hate him, he was elected freely.
Western governments were upset with this result so they use their NED funded programs inside iran to delegitimize the elections and put on a spectacle for western citizens saying it was not fair.

Too bad you cannot spell. We know the Iranians are very intelligent people with a rich culture and an impressive history in science, mathematics, poetry, and their food is delicious. I think their alphabet is the prettiest I've seen, along with Sanskrit. Much nicer than our ugly Roman alphabet. They did not get a Russian puppet. We put in our puppet, the Shah, whom they got sick of and overthrow and got Ayatollah Khomeini. Many were very sorry since the regime was so repressive.
