It's good not to group anything in Generals whether it be infantry, vehicle's, buildings, etc. Depends who your playing against buy if you play against AI they are programmed to "nuke" the area where there is the most enemy presence, comprised of buildings/infantry/vehicles. That's why you don't often see them go for strategical moves like blowing up your important structures. They go where the quantity is, not the quality.

u have to designate them (with your mouse)

and then press ctrl+1

after that all of your designated objects are in team 1

when u press 1 all of themm are marked and u can fire with very many missiles at the same time.
