I'm not asking what he stands for (left/right/center) or how he got the position (voted in by his fellow Democratic senators). I'm asking the question because the man seems to have NO "political" (and communication) skills. Certainly there are other Democratic senators more qualified to lead Reid's party.

And as far as the outlook for 2009, well I went to a Dodge Dealer approx. 20 miles from Dennis' home town yesterday and their lot was nearly 80% empty with only two (2) Trucks on the lot! War is inevitable when societies are organized around monopolies on the use of violence (governments). Dennis Kucinich, or even a guy like Ron Paul, may be decent human beings but they can't change what government fundamentally is, which is a monopoly on the use of force, even if they get into some higher position of power. It's about as likely as trying to infiltrate the mafia in order to turn it into a charity. The idea that "good folks" can change government has been disproved time and again.

I would support you if you could promise me that you would work to regain our lost freedoms, restores our rights, protects the constitution (which is being destroyed), protect our borders from illegal immigrants, work to abolish most presidential executive orders, disbands the SPP, repeal the North America Free Trade Agreement (NASCO), fire Monsanto and Codex. That would be a good start.
