Go to the render buttons and in the rectangle where it says \bmp\ change that to where in your computer you want the movie to go. Example: "C:\MyAnimation". Also, click where it says JPEG and change it to AVI JPEG. Now click Anim and when it is done rendering, upload the file to youtube.

Why does my domain act as a fluid?

The domain will automatically shape as the fluid you created, and do the "fluiding". When baking is finished, you can actually remove the original fluid object, and then the domain is there to perform it all. It is necesarry though, to mke a fluid object in the start, and a domain, after baking, you remove the original fluid object, and then it is ready for rendering.. :)

You can't use baking with game engine (baking is for render, but you can do something with python and soft bodies to make water)

Im rendering right now, its showing the cube and the fluid dropping from the cube, but the cube doesn't disappear as the fluid moves away from it.

it just stays floating in the air while the fluid id on the ground.

how can I get rid of the cube so it wont show up after the fluid has moved away from it?

okay, so the cube that bounds where the liquid can go disappears after you make it, got it.

wanted to make some water splash into a room, and tried to make the walls and floors the domain, but it said you can't have more than one object a domain, just thought it would be useful to know that that cube won't show up afterwards.

That was a nice simple intro. into fluids. A lot of people into 3d-boffin goes on about that. My career in 3d is about a centimetre long so it's all the same to me but you've shown it to me in an easy way. Wasn't sure what "domain" was for but apart from that i think i got the gist. Thanks for that. I hope i'll have a play with this sometime :)

'Domain' is the area in which the simulation will occur. basically, the fluid won't leave the domain. it's there because i's imppossible to calculate the infinite world of 3D, and if you tried, blender would either crash, or lock up. if you use inflow, it just keeps filing, and that can add up.
