  • what bafoonary is this crap!!!! Light speed is not achievable to us.This is just another video trying to get funds to waste on nonsense.

  • @MrGuitartramp shut up fagget

  • @TheUntoward I heard your a really big FAG!

  • There is a way to travel vast distances in a short time,we have yet to discover it,if ETs are visiting our planet, then it must be possible.

  • even though we invent a machine that can travel at a speed of light...it will still take us like 700 years to reach Alpha Centauri (closest star other then our Sun)

  • @mutanTV131 alpha centauri is 4.2. meaning light takes 4.2 years to travel the distance.. meaning it would take 4.3 years if we were able to travel at light speed.

  • @mutanTV131 if we can go that speed according to the theory of relativity that means time travelling. we dont want to wait 700 years only it take only one second or less.

see the video "Time Travel And Einstein's Relativity Made Easy" on youtube

  • @mutanTV131 technically the closest star is Proxima Centauri at 4.2 ly. Even if we were able to reach the speed of light it would take us a long time to accelerate and to decelerate to/from speed of light. We would be really lucky if we were able to travel for 4 years at the speed of light without crossing paths with anything like a small rock...

no radar to help as we would be travelling at the same speed of radio waves. Difficult stuff...

  • @andystardog Want to thumbs up, but it is not an option. Anyways real good comment

  • Of course we will travel the universe in the distant future,we have yet to discover new laws of physics that will enable us to do it,thats what we are here for.

  • sorry Parameters not perameters

  • @mzedong001 If your awake enough, changing the speed of energy, and seperate it from normal space time, meaning you have light traveling at faster velocity from an observers point of view, nominal light speed perameters would be broken, yet maintained in the manipulated area of the space time your in. meaning, light is an interaction rate or effect within a space time dimension, so while part of that dimension of space time, light maintains c, and matter cant exceed it. Worm hole effect

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLER Whatever theories people on YT come up with on how we are going to travel to the stars has already been solved on some distant worlds, have you ever heard of the UFO phenomenon "flying saucers" ? of course you have, seen by highly credible people like astronauts and pilots,Dismissed by narrow minded people who think that we are the most advanced race in the universe.ET's are doing today what we will do tomorrow.

  • @arobekie You wanna know how they do it? reduce the field density or mass of the craft body or both, and you can travel multiples of the speed of light, without even breaking the speed of light. I know all about it, i like many have seen them. The physics behing it may have been solved, if it hadnt, they wouldnt be coming here would they....i have no argument or any doubt they are trurning up all the time, infact, it wouldnt suprise me if a few live not that far away

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLER How do you know all about it?I have also seen them,That's how i know that they do exist, and nobody no matter what what qualifications or scientific background they posess will tell me otherwise.

  • @arobekie Allscie ntists in the world know what is going on, all you need to do is say this.. if humans dont kill themselves or become extinct in the next million years, would you think we would overcome FTL(faster than light) speed...most will say yes. And the physcis we know about is very new, think of it like an embrio, we havent even scratched the surface. The odds of having NO other life in the universe is less than 0.000000000000000000001% There are more stars than grains of sand on Earth

  • @arobekie NASA are going to launch a new bit of kit to be fitted to the space station soon...its a plasma thruster rocket, its going to save $200 milllion a year in fuel that would be used to keep the ISS in low Earth orbit, when it proves itself, the thruster can exceed any man made rocket engine, and create amazing thrust, it can get us to Mars in days rather than months..look up on WIKI the " Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket"or VASIMR for short and read it. Thats where we are :)

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLERIt's just another step towards our advancement in space travel,It might get us to mars ,but only as a manned orbiter ,but it wont allow us to land or take off, that next step is a long way off,Untill we can land on another body and take off without leaving spent fuel tanks, thats when we will be able to visit and place a man on a distant planet. It does seem a long way off,but it will happen, sadly not in my life time.

  • @arobekie The plasma thruster(VASIMR) It should be able to pull a big enough lander to Mars/ We can set up settlements, we could even send the space station there now, and get huge amounts of equipment there in no time. We could fit one to a shuttle type vehicle and even land there, we can use parachutes to drop of most of the equipment, set up camp, drop in solid fuel boosters or rockets to leave the planet when needed. Once VASIMR is running, we can have a space station around every planet

  • @arobekie Every 10 thousand years or so we have a major Ice age and other things that stop us in our tracks, we have been here for half a million years nearly...Some of us could of left earth a hundred thousand years ago, who knows, we havent even searched 2% of the oceans yet, and we say we know everything...dont listen to idiots with an ego based on their school books. We are the haman equivalent of a Lima, or better put, flying Chimp, as far as technology is concerned at the moment.

  • @arobekie Who do you think are always flying about in these saucer shaped things? if we can get to Mars now, im sure an advanced race of people from Mars could of got here when their core and then magnetosphere failed, more so if they had a few thousand years without any major disasters like we have had. You cant have a NASA or ESA under a mile of ice(glacier) your in skins, wondering the snow and ice for something to eat, and when it melts whole land masses become deep oceans.

  • @arobekie Any interstella race of people worth their salt, wouldnt be that unadvanced to be knocked out of the sky at Roswell by a few radio waves..if your an interstella traveler, you wouldnt even need resources, you could manipulate matter and create what you want and do more or less anything..we wouldnt even be threat to them even if we tried to be, it wouldnt even enter their heads that we are a threat we are so unevolved..but the guys who were so called shot down, are just one step up from us

  • @arobekie There are more races of people out there than there are spiecies of insect on earth, trillions of galaxies, with billions of stars or suns of their own, and by saying we are alone in that lot, proves we are retarded. But any people that travel interstella wouldnt be a threat, they would have left behind their control systems like religion and racial differences and money, millions of years ago, we would look like an ant hill to them, attacking other ant hills and eating each other

  • @arobekie Just think of this....when or if we ever become that advanced we can do and will know everything, how boring would that be? we are part of a journey, without that part we play in that journey, the end product will never happen, and when you get to the end of the journey, there is nothing new to find. When the book ends all you can do is put it on the shelf, you cant feel the same magic as you did when you were reading it, unless you read another book.

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLER I dont think we will ever know everything, even the most advanced race out there is probably still advancing,as you know space is vast and im sure there are still parts that even the advanced races has still not reached,so i dont think that it will ever become boring.

  • If you can reduce the rest mass of matter, you may see some very strange things happen, like an increase in atomic time for starters, even the size of the object could increase.

  • matter has mass, and even if you could cancel out the mass of the matter it would still only travel as fast as a photon or the speed of light, matter at the speed of light would fall apart, but again it would take infinite energy. If you created a laser beam that could itself travel many times faster than light, and then travel inside the beam, maybe matter would or could be sustained at extreme velocity or increase its observed velocity while traveling inside it.

  • the speed of light is too slow for space travel or communication. scientists can listen for radio transmissions all they want, they'll never receive any.

  • I can't believe Scientists are talking about space travel.

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLER lol, he's talking about possibilities as if they were hard facts

  • Gravity is the force that attracts masses together. So far as we know all mass emits gravity but it is not the same as gravity.

  • @hydrolito No, mass does not emit gravity. Mass distorts spacetime. That distortion is what we call gravity. Like putting a bowling ball on a rubber sheet. If you roll some marbles past it, the marbles will fall into the 'gravity well' caused by the bowling ball.

  • @cosmicharlie1970 Distorting spacetime is a theory and far less likely than gravity. If there is no gravity you can't have a gravity well.

  • @hydrolito You've never heard of Einstein, huh? He was a famous Jewish physicist who came up with spacetime and E=mc2. Spacetime, and distortions of spacetime, have been proven and measured. There is gravity - it's a measure of the distortion of spacetime.

  • you know that the plot to dune right mze?

  • @wantsyoudead100 Dune had something to do with fighting a giant worm other than that what was it's plot? I saw the movie did not read the book.

  • Speed, is just an ajustment in position and time is a condition of prespective. Stop thinking in human limited ways. There are vast discoveries you will never know as long as you limit your thinking, The smartest human mind who clains to know is a fool! Any body who uses the the tern" can't" or "not possible" is a fool. a fake and a lier. He should just be honest and say "I do not know. All thing are possible if you know how.

  • @benwblw I agree with that.

  • Black hole, you go first.

  • I can understand your perspective on that your observation on what they called ´physical laws´concludes that those laws are not made.

Well the english term ´physical laws´is simply an english term. That´s all.

The speed of light itself has it´s limit - but the speed of thought doesn´t.

  • humans can observe about 8% of the universe that we can see..we cant see is like snake seeing in uv or birds seeing flowers in different colors..the reason that people say that we cant go faster than light is wrong..it is just the 00,1 percent that we can adapt to.if we learn about gravity(wich we dont know NOTHING)it is possible to add a massive gravity point in front of your craft to bend the timespace fabric with no time or space travelled.blackholes gravity kidnaps light. gravity is the key

  • @redbunnyz We do know about gravity if you drop something it falls down. It takes a lot of force to send a rocket up against that gravity. Hot air expands and is lighter than cold air so a hot air ballon floats.

  • @hydrolito no i didnt mean that.. what is the force of gravity..no graviton particle has been found or anything that explain WHY gravity effect as a ``invisible force`` but i think that we are gona make a breakthrough in this century..

  • @redbunnyz We do know about gravity if you drop something heavy it falls down. We know how helium is lighter than air so a helium ballon floats. It takes a lot of force to send a large rocket up against that gravity. Hot air expands and is lighter than cold air so a hot air ballon floats.

  • E = MC^2

Therefore, if you acheive infinite speed, you also have infinite mass. Following that, you need infinite energy. The principle of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only converted. Even if you were to convert every single atom in the known universe into pure energy without any loss to external factors such as friction or resistance, you'd still only achieve 99.99% of the speed of light. Unless lack mass, you cannot exceed the speed of light.

  • evryone knows With tachyon particles

    focused along the proper

    temporal vector a stable passageway

can be opened to any point in the space time continuum!

  • @locriansrevenge everyone but me :+)

  • no such thing - limited speeds are hallucinations of deranged minds........

  • is it possible to see our past things .....if we travel faster than speed of light ?

  • @thepan070 no

  • everybody's an expert

  • How things are going right now I doubt we witness the next 10 years

  • Interesting point UFO TV studios!!!

  • and breaking man - made laws is what we do all the time. Including the laws of your so - called physics. Lol!!!! Breaking the laws of physics? Call the Physics Court then to have each law broken reported!!!!

  • @mzedong001 Physical laws are not man made, they are the basis of the universe, and the basis of all phenomena we observe in the universe, including c being the upper limit to velocity. Light doesn't move at c for fun it moves at that speed because that is the fastest the universe allows it to travel and only that fast because it has a zero rest mass, anything with a non-zero rest mass is limited to moving sub c. I hope that cleared up any misconceptions.

  • can someone tell me how are you going to bend space? i mean...are you going to use like arms or something attached to a spaceship and grab actual space and bend it? someone please tell me

  • Lloyds TSB can go to hell!

  • The space ship that appears and disappears into a ball of light is just turning up his pro-mass drive, and light bends around the ship, light from the ship or craft can emanate outwards through the electromagnetic or electrostatic grav field but it would be blurry, and distorted.. simple

  • hey thanks!! You´re welcome!!!!!

  • official explanations aren´t gods or goddesses with the power to command human thoughts and actions. To suggest something like that is just plain silly and wrong.

There are no limited speeds because speed itself is unlimited.

The speed of light is just one variation of speed while the speed of sound is another. Hence , no speed limits.

  • @mzedong001 I also might add to your comment a small qualifier that the limit to the speed of light is that speed by which light travels. That said, there have been some interesting notions that thought can travel vast distances without exceeding the speed of light by folding space, for want of a linguistic frame of reference. Hence, thought goes beyond dimension and light speed. Thanks for the post!

  • @UFOTVstudios Hi, have you looked at the Cesium light pulse experiment?light is passed down a tube full of laser treated cesium gas, and the atoms start to form at the other side of the tube, faster than the speed of light, i think a quantum effect has occurred there, and matter has been effected to a point where its mass or gravity has been reduced to a point where light is interacting far faster than outside the tube.. i think light speed is effected by gravity, like time dilation. You get me?

  • @UFOTVstudios All ya need is a flux capacitor.

  • @UFOTVstudios you cant bend space its not like to hands will appear and fold space in half so you can shorten the distance like that id say est bet is light speed

  • @bioniclemaster1 Of course you can bend space. You're doing it right now. Gravity bends space-time constantly.

  • @supertrinko gravity doesn;t bend spacetime; mass does. The bending of space time is what results in gravity

  • @qwer1234555sd Mass is essentially gravity. So why bother with a semantic argument?

  • @supertrinko Is it? Im not trying to argue but gravity is the effect we feel that results from the warping of spacetime. Gravity isn't mass

  • @qwer1234555sd Everything that affects your mass, affects your gravitational feild, as you accellerate to higher velocities, your mass rises, as does the force of gravity from you.

There are no other factors in gravitation, mass is it.

Gravity is directly proportional to mass in every way, you can say they're essentially one in the same.

  • @supertrinko ok. Why does your mass increase as your velocity increases? I've always been interested to know!

  • @qwer1234555sd E=mc2. The amount of energy an object possesses is directly proportional to its mass. As your speed increases, your energy increases (your kinetic energy, 1/2 mv2). An increase in energy must increase your mass, according to Einstein's equation. It is impossible to go even as fast as the speed of light, because as you get closer to the speed of light, your mass approaches infinity, as does the energy needed to accelerate your mass any faster.

  • @cosmicharlie1970 but if we could become mass less somehow ;)

  • @cosmicharlie1970 Light travels at the speed of light and doesn't have infinte mass so you argument makes no sense. Force would increase with speed but mass would be the same. A small bullet hits with a lot of force because of it's velocity but it's mass would stay the same. A cannon ball could actually travel slower and hit harder because it has so much more mass.

  • @hydrolito It's not my argument, it's Einstein's - E=mc2. Light doesn't have infinite mass at the speed of light because light (photons) doesn't have mass to start with. A small bullet has slightly more mass when it's traveling hundreds or thousands of feet per second than when it is at rest - says Einstein. Same with the cannonball.

You aren't arguing with me, you're arguing with Einstein. The Truth Is Out There.

  • @cosmicharlie1970 Light has mass and an object that is very large such as a black hole or star will affect it's path or if close enough to a black hole pull it in. There are even some scientist that believe light could be used to propell objects in space where effect of gravity is less, sort of like wind hitting a sail.

  • @hydrolito Light doesn't have mass. Check your internets. Light has energy, and it's that energy which is transmitted to the solar sail. Light is affected by massive objects because massive objects distort spacetime, affected the path of the photons. You should try reading Einstein or an introduction to relativity.

  • E Energy or force m is mass and c is velocity 2 is for squared. This is about affects of increasing speed increasing force does not mean mass is increased just affects of speed increasing it's force. Go back to elementary school already.

  • @hydrolito You can't be that retarded. As the energy of a thing increases, it's mass increases. Energy includes kinetic energy, which increases the faster the thing goes. So the faster a thing goes, the more massive it is. Don't believe me, check the internet, idiot, like I suggested before. This is not obscure or controversial. And you want me to go back to elementary school? I guess you have no sense of embarrassment.

  • @cosmicharlie1970 Lol why so mad??

  • @cosmicharlie1970 speed isn't the answer, planets are as close to each other than the fingers on your hand. If space is a matter state like a Bose Einstein Condensate, creating a super atom state where quantum entanglement and information traveling faster than light occur due to this, reduction in energy rather than increase is the key. If you create a BEC state outside the ship, maintained by EM evaporative cooling combined with superconductors like YBCO for the desired effect

  • @cosmicharlie1970 Contd....You would or could simply sink into the fabric of space time itself.. Time, energy speed, mass, everything, follow a line from 0 Kelvin-c at each end time seems to stop. But time runs in two ways, the faster you go, the slower the time, and the slower you go, the faster the time, but reduce the energy to a BEC state, and time is both infinite and stopped at the same time from the observers point of view. Meaning your in a matter state, at the other end to plasma.

  • @cosmicharlie1970 Contd.....Information can be maintained in light and the light can now be suspended in a BEC cloud, meaning within this medium cloud matter state, light has stopped, so has time? or is the light simply information maintaining the dimensional rules, meaning space or the universe are nothing only compilations of information and not the physical reality we think we live in. :)

  • @hydrolito Didn't you know it was all an illusion? the rules don't allow matter to travel faster than itself. Can you run faster than yourself? In a computer game, you cant make the guy you play, run faster than the computer allows you to run, unless you change the rules or bypass them or rewrite the program, but even then your still limited and again you cant go faster than that, but if you bypass them, your not running then, your doing something else.

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLER I can run on a more regular basis and increase my leg muscles ability to run that's how an athelete beats his old running time. However I could just ride a bike and go even faster than I could run or drive a car faster than the bike. Of course they can improve the bike design to go faster such as 10 speed bike insteadsof single speed bike or improve design of car to go faster, indianapolis race car beats a model T for example.

  • @hydrolito Look at it this way,its like saying how fast do you sleep...I know what you mean, its hard to explain or take in, if the limit is 186,000 miles a second whats wrong with 187,000 miles a second...but matter resorts back to energy at 186,000 mps and time also stops or near enough stops from the observer or guy on earth watching you shoot through the stars, you wouldnt feel it stop, but thats the problem, depending how long you stop time for you could get back 2000 yrs in the future..

  • @hydrolito You have to do something to space-time or effect it or change it to get to where you wanto go, or even change the way your space ship works or what its made of...understanding what space-time is and what we are really made of, is how we will do it, rather than just blast through space from A - B Just like sending a letter, it takes days to post a letter containing information, yet seconds to Email the same information directly to the persons eyes or brain, you sent the information to

  • Americans actually think space travel is possible. LOL. Do you know how far is it from one Solar System to another?

  • @tnguyen318 its all down to inertia/mass and changing the speed light can travel, if you offset or reduce the inertia/mass of the vehicle and increase the speed of light in the area of space time you are traveling, you could travel billions of times the speed of regular earth based observational light, so even then a slow speed is increased billions of times, but the ship is only coasting slowly, only from earths point of view its traveling realy fast. Propulsion isnt a factor.

  • Its not impossible, but you'd have to warp your surrounding so bad it effects magnetic fields. Using powerful satellite magnetic microwave wireless transmission is the key. Same concept as with radio-waves traveling from one antenna to the next except its in solid form. On a metallic ship that large (the size of two passengers), sending the ship from one point to another you can reach 75,000 MPH.

  • @tnguyen318 Ive no idea about that concept, but if you want to know what NASA will be using soon on their space craft, reducing travel time from months to days, without crazy fuel payloads costing a fortune. Look at .................Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket (VASIMR) it should be going into space soon and be fitted to the ISS. As for low mass relativistic speeds, field density manipulation, without effecting mass may be the way to travel multiples of the speed of light(c)

  • Flying to the Moon is not Space Travel. It's called flying to the Moon and Back. Space Travel must mean we are freely traveling around space without worrying about restrictions.

  • @tnguyen318 To you flying to the moon may not be space travel, but its a start, its not like flying to another country in a jet. You need to crawl before you can run the 100 mtrs in the Olympics. If you wanto fly about in space without restrictions, get with the program, and work out how it could be done. You cant say, oh lets bend space, thats no answer, its how you bend space, or how would you do that. Its how one would reduce inertia, or reduce field density, and not just saying it

  • Driving to your neighbors house is not traveling. That's the distance from the Earth to the Moon compared to the size of the Universe. Traveling would mean you're able to move about and freely in space. And that's not to me, that's to everybody.

  • @supertrinko oh!!! cool!!!

  • @supertrinko Mass emits gravity but is not gravity.

  • @hydrolito Mass emits gravity? No I assure you nothing is emitted, gravity is a pull force. Gravity is directly proportional to mass.

  • @supertrinko To bend space you would need enough energy as a black hole light years across if you wanto travel vast distances, and your not only effecting you and your journey time and distance, your going to effect everything else in the area you bend space. You would in effect create a huge gravitational warp in space time, pulling everything into it, like the gravitational well Einstein goes on about.Cutting through the bend, isnt possible, you would leave space time unless both sides are joined

  • @UFOTVstudios even the speed of thought is limited in some cases, scroll through YouTube for ten mins and have a look at some of the comments lol I'm going with the speed of insanity, how mad can one go lol

  • @mzedong001 actualy as far as we know speed is limited to light speed because otherwise anything past that would be breaking the laws of physics

  • @mzedong001 speed, is in fact limited to the speed of light...

  • @mzedong001 Speed is restricted, nothing can travel faster than light. . the speed of light is the maximum speed you can travel because you cant travel faster than the the enegy coming out of the back giving you thrust, and thats only one problem. The energy you would need to do it would be infinite, your mass would be infinite, and you would turn into a ball of QGP Quark Gluon Plasma TRILLIONS OF DEGREES. matter in its normal form cant travel faster than a massless particle like a photon/energy

  • @mzedong001 I do agree with this, because speed is alway's relative to a reference. If there is no reference to a object, you also can not measure the speed. (the simple law of relativity) In that case, it is possible for an object to reach an unlimited speed! There are particles, like nutrino's that go faster than the speed of light. And if a nutrino particle can do it, so can a men built spacecraft!

  • there are however no further theories about this, so we must accept it as a speedlimit untill something faster is been researched. Humans ask answers, and we need to supply answers. As for a speedlimit, lightspeed vaguely answers that question.

but at the same moment we all know its just total bullshit.

we speak about, dark energy, dark matter...

im not stating that the answer to beyond lightspeed lies within these undiscovered elements.

But like i just stated, theyre undiscovered.

  • the acretion disk of a black hole still aplies, we cannot see the acretion disk beyond the event horizon, because the element of our eyes applies to light. And because it oureaches that we say, well light is a speed limit.

No its not a speedlimit, its a human biological limit. And machines and certain pseudoscience will have to get a second answer to that set barrier.

Light is certainly no cosmic speedlimit, greatest theoretical bullshit weve accepted in science. it makes no sense at all.

  • so theres clear evidence that things can go faster then lightspeed. We just set the barrier there because light applies to the human sense of sight. Hearing is a sense, yet we cannot indicate soundwaves faster then several times the speed of sound.

Cause sound has different speeds trough different materials. In earths atmosphere, its around 1150kph on average.

lightspeed, is just the barrier of our eyes, a blackhole exist, we say, the matter in a blackhole goes faster then light

  • so that same force will keep it moving interruptibly.

As for lightspeed, its no speedlimit. Complete bullshit. Im not stating einstein is wrong, because hes perfectly right, as for gravity and reletavism that is. if that relativism is bound by light as a structure of our universe? thats a fact im really in much doubt about.

You see, at this very moment there are objects (galaxies probably) 13 billion lightyears out, that actualy travel faster then light in perspective to earth.

  • 5times your own weight. Yes thats right, five times,

the reason you dont feel the suns gravity, is because your falling into it, but also escaping it at the same moment. If this hypothetical scenario was real, everybody would fall of the earth into space.

gravity is relative, as long as you escape from it you will not experience its force, the objects by itself, will keep their masses. So it takes the same force to move something into space, but it freefalls in comparson to your body

  • move will not exhaust itself, it will keep you going until another physical reaction makes you stop from moving.

If the earth would stop orbiting the sun, the earth goes around the sun at a velocity of 30 kilometres per second. If the earth would stop its orbit and it would remain statically in space, the suns gravity will take effect upon your body,

the gravity of the sun wants you to fall to it, but your static in space. if this hypothetical scenario was real you would experience

  • ofcourse theres gforces in space. Astronauts are not weightlessness after the engines stop.

Your not weightlessness in space either, everything in space has weight. It would require the same force to accelerate yourself in space as it does on earth.

Meaning that you need the same muscle strength to move yourself around.

The funny thing is, your body and the space module to, are in a freefall all together, so you fall to the earth with the living module.

So the force that requries to

  • Wormholes are impratical because they're dangerous(you'd be ripped up if it appears a few inches to the left) hard(not easy to make a bhole) and expensive(one wormhole would only connect two points and would need enormous machinery). Hyperspace would be much easier in StarWars than real life. Only a 3d cross section would move causing all other ds to be warped and perhaps destroyed. Warp drive is better. It fits on ships, all you need is a space wave made by matter annihilation and you're off.

  • I find this very fasination

  • The narrator sounds exactly like David Bowie.

  • @HandtoHandWombat LMAO also Pierce Bronson...James Bond

  • If space is nothing why does it gain mass when traveling at high speed, matter should not ract in any way realy, but it does, for anything to react it need an other force or something to react agiainst. the onlt hink in space in linear energy frequency, from stars and every other bit of matter emitting it. Matter must be a none linear energy wave to interact with energy and gain energy while at speed, meaning when matter reaches the speed of light it loses wave structure and turns back to linear

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLER The force reacting against it is whatever is propelling the space craft. Mass is related to gravity. There is no difference between gravity and acceleration. Empty space has nothing to do with it.

  • @markuscc I am looking at things in another light. Anyway, if matter particles are nothing only spinning energy around a sub atomic black hole, it would have a great effect on the particle, look at each particle creating its own gravity and mass due to the energy spinning around it, makes you wonder why matter acts like energy, it may answer a few things, anyway square root 100 KeV of Gamma and check the charge No of the electron, there should be no G force in O gravity anyway but there is

  • @markuscc when you travel at high speed in space, you increase your mass, gravity etc...why? because of G force, now they say there is no G force in space, but their is, its the same effect as gravity, it even slows down the perception of time from the observer, but doesnt slow down time itself, just stops your particles in their tracks with gravity so to speak. i dont know why we think about the impossible theory like light speed, and calculate crap from it.

  • @SASNIGHTCRAWLER There doesn't have to be any gravity in space for there to be a g-force exerted on any accelerating body. I'm not sure where you got your info but you might want to do some more research on the theory of gravity in general. Why do you think that there is "no g-force in space"?

  • @markuscc all gravity or G-force is, is a force exerted on a particle or particles of matter, the particle in relation to another particle acts with gravity, because gravity is nothing only some electrostatic force generated by the momentum of matter which attracts other particles to it. Earth/space its all the same, only space has no matter or air in it, appart from planets and singular particles or hydrogen etc. G-force is found in space, thats what im saying, why do you think time slows down?

  • mity15 u havent did all ur research yet. if u didnt know the military has this technology all ready from the area 51 crash site. the only thing that i fuckin hate is that there only using it for military use as in weapon distruction. And not giving it to nasa to study the technology! fuckin assholes!

  • im my view we need to make a machine or device here on earth that can send you there in the blink of an eye as I dont think we will ever in the near future find A way of getting to the speed of light or faster using rockets or anyother type of probe. Also such a Machine if possilbe is centuries away sadly you will see far off plantes but will not be albe to reach them.

  • It doesn't work,gets stuck at the beginning :/

  • sounds like a plan to me

  • Does anyone research Alcabierre Drive? It is a type of propulsion which would not incounter problems like time dilation and G Force and can travel far faster than the speed of light.

  • @NCC17O1Q

actually i was looking at that a little while ago,

i know as much about physics as much as cookie monster knows about proper dieting, but from what i can tell, the waves would have to reshape space, and to do that the waves would have to travel faster than light in order to warp it enough to push us faster than light.

it looks like it could get us light speed in that bubble, but i dont see how it could go faster.

  • @rlwiii It doesn't use waves it uses energy to create the same effect mass does because large masses warp space like a blackhole or the sun and if mass is the same as energy an vice-vursa (E=MC^2) energy can warp space in the same way and space doesn't travel it just warps bigger and bigger and bigger in front and behind you.

  • @factsonlyplease1 If the universe is spinning at a high speed, maybe the speed of light, now if its spinning in the void of nothing, the same nothing seen in the centre of the black hole, and you create a bubble or spherical event horizon around your craft, maybe you will enter the nothing, and space time will spin over or around the top of you and you could appear at the other side of the universe in seconds depending on the speed the universe is traveling in relation to the outside of the universe?

  • @factsonlyplease1 If this is the way, one would need a map or some way of timing the universe and its direction and where you would appear, because the last thing you wanto do is appear in the mother inlaws bedroom while she is playing strip poker whith the Milkman, or even worse inside the centre of a planet or star. Thats the only way one can travel at ligh or above light speed. thats if the universe is moving about in the nothing outside it that is.. Matter is energy and energy cant travel@c

  • I Just watched this on DVD ,the back of the cover says prepare to embark on a mind bending journey,I believe most people interviewed were mind bent indeed

  • @edavisdavis

    i agree entirely

  • flippen.

  • Best Video to describe science of Physics. Very Good Work

  • good science verse bad science so evil is losing the battle i think space travel is possible

  • @TD4WD, you know something Einstein or Hawking didn't/doesn't? Please share....

  • No. Black Ops is where 100 billions of dollars of tax payer money goes each year. It is unaccounted for and not part of the military budget. Its definitely not going to the roads or bridges in our cities, I guarantee you that.

  • Man already has bases on Mars. Only black Ops has access to it. NASA is a front. The malevolent ETs have been supplying technology to black Ops for a long time, of course selling out the human race. Virgin Air is already developing space ships to send the average human into space for $500,000 per seat. Man is going into space and black Ops can not stop it anymore. Thus, the ETs will be revealed openly very soon! The ETs are everywhere in space.

  • @HealthJunkie You sound like you know what you're talking about. Do you think there is any hope for a base on Venus, or is it too harsh? Why isn't the Obama administration pushing the space initiative? It seems like focusing on space - which it the future of humankind - would be a great way for a president to earn a spot on Mt. Rushmore. Look at Kennedy! (Okay, so he's not on Rushmore, but you get my drift).

  • @Crackhouts Venus is not suitable for 3rd density life forms (humans). Yes, space is the future for mankind. Since the 1970's or before it has only been available to the black ops programs. They have kept it a secret for a very long time for of course selfish reasons like control, power, and greed. Kennedy was one of the great presidents, but they the black ops took him out, just like they do to many of our fine great people. Everything is in the open now, just do your research.

  • @HealthJunkie I've never heard of Black Ops before. Is this like John Travolta in "Swordfish"? Do you have anything you can point me towards?

  • What about objects in your way? You'd need some radar system that is beyond the speed of light just to travel at light speed, unless you had the ability to plot your course and see all objects in your way, but your vision of such objects is still governed by the speed of light, correct?

  • @EternallyRecurring, this kind of speculation is pretty pointless. Faster than light travel almost certainly means you won't be travelling in the same fashion as regular travel. I.e., you will not traverse space in a continuous manner. Therefore the notion that you might bump into things that are located between your point of departure and your point of arrival might not be a valid one.

  • @DavidMTRutten Wouldn't all speculation of FTL be pretty pointless?

  • @EternallyRecurring, not out of hand. Eventhough we can probably say very little about how it would work and what the dangers would be, I think we can say a lot about how it definitely couldn't work.

  • @DavidMTRutten I guess that's the way with most things we once were unable to do. I respect man's intelligence and determination, but defying the laws of physics seems like a tall order.

  • It's tempting to assume that the lightspeed limitation will be overcome in the future by human ingenuity, but there is a problem with this, succinctly put by Enrico Fermi in 1950. If interstellar space travel is possible, where are all the aliens? Surely by now someone, somewhere will have build a self-replicating space-craft that can star hop to the nearest star, build a copy of itself, then star hop to the next star. By now the universe should be teeming with copies of this space-craft.

  • @fiesta1100, it's not about needing, it's about being able to. Make a machine that can replicate itself and you only have to build one to seed the entire universe. I find it hard to imagine any civilisation not choosing to do this if they had the ability.

  • @fiesta1100, we send out two 'first contact' attempts already; the Voyager Golden Records. Admittedly it was more an afterthought than a goal in the case of Voyager I and II, but given even the smallest chance humanity jumped at the opportunity. Of all the civilisations that are supposed to live out there, don't you think at least one would have build such a machine?

  • Comment removed

  • @fiesta1100 "The problem is how would we retrieve such a probe"

I think it would be the purpose of the probe to make first contact. It's not that hard to find something that has been designed to be found.

I agree it is not a terribly strong argument against faster-than-light-travel, but it certainly doesn't help the notion that some day the light speed limit will be overcome, as have all other limits we've faced in the past.

  • @fiesta1100, I think we have big misunderstanding here. At no point did I claim that lightspeed will be reached, let alone broken, one day. In fact, my point was that if it could be broken at all, why isn't the universe already saturated with exponentially expanding alien civilisations/self-replicating probes?

  • Comment removed

  • @DavidMTRutten Because some guy in 1950 said that there should be self-replicating space craft and there doesent seem to be,Is no basis for an argument to say that we have not been visited by aliens.

  • @arobekie, so because some other guy in 1859 proposed Evolution means it is no longer true? Fermi had a good point, unless you have a counter-argument or an explanation, there's no way around it.

  • @DavidMTRutten Evolution and what fermi proposed cannot be compared,To say its a good point is just a matter of opinion.

  • these cats have been watching too much star trek

  • @freedo333 If you were to go back to 1980 or earlier and describe something such as a cell phone, Blue Ray DVD player, CamVideo technology, or computer touch screen technology, someone may have said the same thing to you. "You’re watching too much Star Trek". When I was a teen playing video games on my Atari 5200, I used to think to myself how great it would be to play other people through your TV set. Today teens have "Online game play". Today's sci-fi is tomorrow reality!

  • the dematerialization of a spacecraft would include turning matter into energy... i feel like that would be difficult...

  • i would say its impossible for us now to travel the speed of light...

think about it... in space we have tons of mini dust particles drifting aimlessly about. if we just zoomed and smashed into the particles at light speed , the particles would have reduced the armor of an Abrams tank within seconds into sand

  • @Poweryouup yeah its imposible, but not because of that, its because when you reach the spead of light, your mass become infinite, and time stops, everything desapears, and you are stuck there forever of course, if you didint die from your mass becoming infinite ^^

  • @Poweryouup We dont have to travel the speed of light

We only need to reach 99.9 and we would feel the effects of time travel. we could travel light years in what would seem to the space ship occupants as weeks, but back on earth time would not accelerate, so those you love you left back on earth would likely be dead by the time you reached your destination. its a very interesting how the dynamics of it all apparently works

our race can do it, and we can discover the UNIVERSE

  • I think the best way is to create a Dream Body through meditation and travel as thought.

    Like when you read.
