  • I was thinking of sending my kids to boarding school in nijia seeing this, i have to give it a second thought.....

  • My sister went to boarding school for a year, and I was supposed to follow suit but after she came home sick f(she lost one year of schooling as a result) . NOBODY went to boarding school in my family again. I understand now but then I should to abuse my sister badly for making me miss the opportunity. :)

  • I can so relate to this.....I went to Adesoye College, Offa and it was HORRIBLE!!!

  • @bolanleadisa Oh please!!!!!! you ajebos at Adesoye know nothing. Adesoye was for them rich kids.

  • @bolanleadisa LMFAO! Bolanle remember those days when there was no water....rub and shine...hopefully sailes has done something.

  • Lwkmd......the in the pink shirt is tooo funny. Boarding school in Naija is not for stubborn people like I was, washed toilets toooo many times. Still had a blast though.

  • I went to FGC Ugwolawo. I remember FGGC Gboko used to have an exchange drama performance with my school then.Their girls were awesome! I remember one Edna D. and Rita O. I thought they were the most beautiful and sassy girls in the entire world. I miss my Naija boarding house days.I used to long for the visiting days to eat real home cooked foods.I ate foods from all cultures/religions of Nigeria,Chad and even snails that was forbidden in Igboland.Who cares what is forbidden when you are hungry?

  • rub and shine

    lmfao

  • The guy is pink shirt is so cute made me laugh, so dramatic and sure brought back good and bad memories :) Boarding house was indeed the bomb, if u missed it u missed out!

  • The guy in the pink shirt is so dramatic ! LMAOOO !!! hahahahah

  • i love how he said it was hell and smiled

  • Boarding school kinda made me more disciplined.Lagos state model college kankon.

made great friends but some seniors were mean and i still wonder how they were such heartless already at that age

  • haaa me i went to AIRFORCE COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL IBADAN 2006 SET MEHN SUFFER HEAD TOO MUCH ..UNTIL I LEFT SS1 1ST TERM BUT I LOVED EVERY EXPERIENCE LOOKING AT IT TODAYY ..THAT SCHOOL MADE ME

  • In Naija BOARDING SCHOOLS MEAT WAS A LUXURY lol

  • I think my mother's experience of boarding school deterred her from sending myself and my brother to one although I wanted to go to a boarding school..However I do remember my friends stories of boarding school..the one that made me laugh was the "okada" punishment; it made me grateful for the writing lines style punishment...yes o ajebutter le me o!

  • 'I came in, I put it in my locker but greater people than me came...and they conquered' LOL

  • @01375855885 - I tell you eh, too funny

  • Love this!! So many memories of my boarding school experience...

  • Boarding school was ... interesting. *shudders* I don't miss toilet work. Good gawd.

  • This is such an awesome project! Thanks for sharing. I'm a QC alum (06) and a lot of your experiences resonate with me, though I think it got progressively less brutal. By the time I left, you couldn't even punish junior girls if you weren't a prefect! lol I was so good at escaping toilet work though. I perfected the art of fake sickness and crocodile tears. lmbo!

  • Na hard life weh we dey live for Naija!

  • "pour small here, put soap, pour small here remove soap" lmao! and the guy keeps smiling!

  • @tricialo1 It's a classic Nigerian coping mechanism. You have to suffer and smile, abi? lol

  • We may have suffered but truly I wouldn't trade the experience for anything! I think the good outweighs the bad.

  • They forgot the metal suitcases, and solid padlock. Anything but that and your suitcase would be ripped open and padlock jacked

  • Hahahaha.... Yemi... My very own Michael Ealy... You are just waaaay too funny!!! I can just imagine the suffering you went through... Keep Smiling though... Lol

Shout Out to My NJ family :) Only my own brother and cousin didn't too suffer. Eluma... Ugboko though??? lol

  • Sweet & sour experience...i mean very sour. (FGC OKIGWE).

  • like if the guy in the PINK SHIRT SUFFERED THE MOST "1:40" LMAO

  • OOPS didn't stay in boarding school not sure if am lucky or missed but heard so much

  • Lol

  • Kai!! This video brings back memories. I wonder how useless I would have been if I wasn't in a boarding school. Not jjust any other boarding school but Pro Unitate (FGC). Its the best experience you can have in your life. Even when I thought I had my freedom in SS3, we were always drilled by the military men who were hired then to secure the school at night.

  • Military school was the bomb especially when you when you are of civilian parentage. you bloody civilian. LOL

  • Military school was the bomb expecially when you when you are of civilian parentage. you bloody civilian. LOL

  • the guy in pink, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. and that his smile after saying "it was hell" lmaooo i am dying. Thank you Jesus cos i never went to boarding school! i was a stubborn child, i'm sure i would have suffered plenty if i went

  • LOve the guys experience.....(baffing....lol...with two bowls of water)

  • kai...this ish was on point..but damn that dude that was flogged with koboko 4 by 4 and all that went thru hell..

  • I love you guys, this is some true experience... Naija for life!

  • hahahahahaha!!!!!! Good old memories coming back; memories that i'll always treasure.

  • Boarding School Experience = Washing the bathrooms!!! Thank God I left Naija after 9th grade.

  • That light skin guy saying it was hell must have been a very stubborn young boy back then

  • hahaha if i didn't go to boarding school in Nigeria, i couldn't see myself bin anything better ..cause i mean you just learn way to much about life at once....Joys !

  • lol i guess i'm considered an aje butter abi? i no go boarding school o. I'm a living testimony. Lord i thank u o lol

  • hahhahaa i have bathed with only one sachet of water before... lol

  • LMAO at "baffing story"

  • I think we can agree that we served Prison terms for the duration of time we spent in boarding schools in Nigeria. Thats exactly what they were. Prison! I still remember the blisters and calluses in my palms from cutting grass.

  • oh how cud i forget RUB AND SHINE!!!!

  • true true, Baptist man!!! 2 bowls story is not a lie.

  • ahahaha....my guy....its so true....everything he said bout BHS!!! am a product of baptist....and yes i baffed with two bowls of water too!!!

    LMAO!!

  • The guy in pink is just summarize am ON POINT! Thankk youu ooo Mr Pink!

  • Mehn i had seniors that beat me for no good reason...i remember one day this senior was like the amount of teeth you shine time 12 is ur beating and ofcourse that was when i showed my 32 so i got 384 strokes with a t square ruler....good ol days

  • Pro Unitate, Military and Missionary Boarding schools in Nigeria are the definition of hell. I look back now and I just laugh. I don't regret going to boarding school one bit cos I have a lot of stories to tell. I suffered till SS1. SS2 and SS3 was my time to shine and I made sure I shone as bright as a star. ;DDDD

  • @TheModella17 Moi aussi

  • @TheModella17 Turn to shine, lol! That's why the vicious cycle never broke. Boiz suffered as juniors, so juniors had to suffer too wen boiz became seniors

  • Rub and shine, lol

  • @TheChukam You can share opinions politely, can't you?

  • OMG!!!!! FGGC Akure for junior school. I still hate Kelechi Okam!

Madam koi koi, Mr Man, kai.

  • @abimbola004 Chei, you are naming names? ewo!

  • @BaniProductions Yes o! I am going to name names o! Plenty sef. I'm just getting started!

  • @abimbola004 Haha, I went to Akure too. I remember Kelechi Okam. Her sister was in my set :)

  • @abimbola004 went to feggicolla too 2004 set! i just laugh when i remember those days!

  • @abimbola004 what happens in school stays in school!! everyone remains anonymous :) no hating, man. life's too short. everyone was ignorant then. young chickens puffing up their wings.

  • @abimbola004 lol, wtf was an igbo boy doing in FGGC Akure?\

  • @onyedikachiawaji It was a girl's only school. So it was a 'she'. And remember it was a federal government college? Tribe didn't come into it. People from all tribes went to different schools and that made them interesting :)

  • I pity those Nigerians that didnt go to boarding school in Nigeria! Its the best and the worst experience in the world! Sure, you go through all sorts of suffering in the hands of seniors but it give you a backbone; makes you stand up for yourself, have a sharp and witty tongue (lol!). If you can make it in boarding school, you can make it anywhere. Oh, they forgot to add that when they became seniors they did the same thg and worse to their junior students!!

  • @dreamflite yes it was a vicious cycle. But some of us did break it. I was quite a nice senior

  • @BaniProductions Sad to say that most of us didn't break it.

  • i feel sorry for those who did not go to BOARDING school in Ghana/Nigeria - it was a horrible experience - but it toughens you up and makes you ready for the world. If you went to boarding school in any of these two WAEC countries - you can face life at the fullest and nothing can break you. Try have 22 characters in your name , being asked by seniors to tuck in your school house dress in your panties and then as you standing up writing your name with your ass (can you imagine it i bet you cant

  • Never went to boarding school but this was hilarious!

  • lol @ bathing story. So true. My JSS boarding school wasn't so bad. Changed schools in SSS and was too scared to become a boarder, because the girls in this school were monsters. They even had to bring a chief Justice to talk to us when i was in SS2 because they felt the girls were acting like hardened criminals. It was like being a Junior student was a crime.

  • I swear boarding school has not changed Jeez :) memories man lol @ the keep smiling caption goodness this is such a a good idea . Darn Rub and shine memories, quadrangle memories, mati wahala, trading garri for sugar and cornflakes at the end of the semester , cabin biscuits vs maryland cookies darn

  • Truly enjoyed this. Brought back so many memories...
