I can't believe Prop 8 got all the attention when something this horrible happened in Arkansas!! Why didn't the media care more about it? Marriage is extremely important of course, but at least the people in CA still had their domestic partnerships and stuff. Taking away people's right to adopt kids is so much more extreme!! And it's like the media didn't even notice or care.

Sorry, but that's insane. You need to get educated. Why don't you check out all the studies? Google "APA gay parents" or "22 year lesbian study" for info. I have two gay dads myself, and my brothers and I were never abused. You seriously don't know what you are talking about. That is *extremely* ignorant to say that kids of LGBT parents are at risk of sexual abuse. It's also pretty offensive.
Candidate Smith apparently attempted to charge at least one person in Illinois $25,000 to help procure a loan. According to documents from the Illinois Secretary of State, Mr. Smith also violated Illinois code by operating in Illinois without registering as a broker.
