  • So....ads that are longer than the videos they accompany? Yeah. Skipped.

  • Thumbs up if you recognize this from Tom & Jerry.

  • In in hands of Cortot this final Prelude of op.28 sounds apocalyptic.

  • First recorded breakdown: 2:15

    Metal, fuck yeah.

  • nice on the chromatic 3rds

  • The sheet music is very nice (dynamics, fingers, etc.). Which edition is it?

Anyway Cortot is just amazing I like this particular interpretation because he (through the whole piece) builds up the suspense and at 1:42 everything just explodes.

  • how do you play the triplet 16ths , that is what i am concerned about

  • @30inventionman think of it as it would be chromatic scale played by 3rd 4th and 5th finger molto legato. then add thirds

  • how hard is this

  • @30inventionman

    It's not that hard.

  • I absolutely love when he double the basses... they sounds like thunders, and it's amazing! I have the goosebumps...

  • i've come to the conclusion that cortot was madly in love with the lowest octave of the keyboard :P

  • wow what speed and still so clean!

  • I long to hear Benno Moisewich' recording of op.28 - he did sound as a tidied-up Cortot :-)
